I have this in 4 shades. Not a stain, but great "translucent" kind of color. There are days when you don't want a solid, heavy color. This is it. More natural, yet glossy enough you don't need gloss.
Love the "pencil" packaging, always a rounded tip available.

Not too much
I love these lip crayons as I call them. I have many, many colors. What I like is that the color is sheer and yet still present on your lips. I was surprised at how long the color lasted. I am 47 years old. I know one of the reviewers commented on the glitter. Depending on the color, there is some glitter. However, I don't feel it's too much. Sometimes a little sparkle is called for!

I love this :) i would totally recomend trying if looking for somthing less sticky then gloss and not as much power as lipstick this is a must have love it because i work long hours and stays on as well as dosent make my lips chapped awesome the only thing i wish is that tarte or better yet qvc make a trio to sell cuz u cant just have one:)

Smooth and lustrous
This product has many great qualities, especially the texture and subtle sheen. The color is very sheer, so for me it works best as a lip gloss over a more permanent color.

Best lip product
This lip product knocks it out of the park. I have tried nearly them all. And this is my favorite by far. I have 5 colors, a kit from the holidays and was worth every penny. Don't hesitate, it is like a balm with color that stays. Not so overwhelming color, just enough. Just saying this is perfect. Thanks Maureen.

I prefer matte
The colors are very bright and shimmery in this selection. I prefer the matte colors. Waiting patiently for a package of 3 again.

too glittery give to a child to play with
I got a pink one in a newbeauty test tube it was god awful it was so glittery and drying straight up horrible tartes lipsticks are much better

Good for your lips.
No doubt this lipsurgence is great for your lips BUT getting the color I wanted was difficult. It just seems to be too bright for my taste. I ordered the Pouty because it is the berry color but it is a bright berry color. My preference is for a deeper color. I don't like going out feeling like the headlights are coming from my lips!
