This powder was very smooth on the face. But for the size of the container and the price, I would not recommend.

I got this as a gift last year. I put very little on with a fan brush all over my face and neck. It makes my face silky smooth and I have a softer look when I apply this. I'm a dark olive complexion gal and it's fine as long as I use very little powder. I let my makeup dry before I apply this last. The main ingredient is zinc oxide which is a physical sunblock (which I prefer) instead of a chemical sunscreen. I use this with or without makeup. This is a great finishing powder!

Great, but..
First let me say I love this powder. It sets makeup firmly, it's matt, it makes your skin feel velvety smooth and it's got good SPF protection. Best of all it really does make your pores look smaller. The only downside it that being white and translucent (not completely transparent) it has a tendency to make even my pale skin look ashy. If I am careful to apply it very lightly I can use it. Not sure how someone with medium or dark skin would get away with it. Unless I'm missing some trick to applying this that makes it blend better..
Minus one star for misleading people into thinking it works for all skin types.

Beautiful Powder
Yes, girls, this is a beautiful powder, but for me, it settled into lines on my face leaving me looking quite alarming when I looked in the mirror. I had been using another high-priced finishing powder and it left my face looking much better. Must return with regrets. I had hoped it would do the same for me. Sorry.
