Expired Product
Bought these at a special price but the product was yellow to brown, meaning the retinol might not be as effective as it can be. I have since found out that they are indeed expired products (check lot number on package or bottom of container). These particular bottles were manufactured in 2010. I am so disappointed in QVC; did they know that these were old bottles?!?

Seeing a difference
I have been using this product for 2 weeks now. I bought this product because I read in an article that retinol can help with acne and being close to 40 I did not want to deal with acne anymore. After using this product I not only saw a decrease in acne I also noticed how illuminated my skin looks. My pores, and scars from previous acne have decreased in size. I am thinking about buying this for my son who is also always dealing with acne.

Way too much fragrance!
I was very excited to use this product. Dr. Kirby was very convincing that retinols and sunscreen are the cornerstones to good skin care. At the age of 59, I decided I should add a retinol to my skin care plan. I have no idea if this product works because I really couldn't get past the fragrance! I tried it a few times but stopped -- I felt like I was putting a very strong perfumed lotion on my face -- and the smell doesn't dissipate! I actually had to go and wash it off. I do believe Dr. Kirby -- that retinols are important -- but be advised that this product contains a strong fragrance -- if this is not something you want. If you can get past the fragrance, the consistency if wonderful.

Too soon to tell!
I have been using product for about two weeks but it is recommended to use for 28 days to seee a difference. I also started using a complete skin care line at the same time. People have been complimenting how glowing my skin looks so I am not sure if it is from the retinol or from the other product. I have to say that my product is a milky white color and appears very fresh! Overall I am happy with product.

sagging skin reappears.
I decided not to reorder neutrogena retinol serum and i was devastated within a month how my texture to my skin changed, my skin is now saggy, increased wrinkles so I went back to this product, I couldnt believe how my turkey neck reappeared. wont live without this product again. Dont make the same mistake, keep that youthful, tight skin.

So Very Confused
I liked this product and was pleased with the results. My product was purchased during the first presentation on QVC. I was interested in the Neutrogena products after their good review in Consumers Guide, of all places. Mine bottle has certainly changed colors from perhaps a very pale yellow to a dark yellow. Until someone has a good answer for what is happening with the product I will not reorder.Thank you to the other reviewers for taking the time to call and find out what was going on with product freshness and color.

Glad its not too late
Not having this product before I was not sure about it. After using I would say it's very expensive without noticeable result. After reading the reviews I understand. Mine was also yellow, not creamy white, expired,old retinol! Going back before its to late.

I have used several brands of retinol and this does not seem to do anything at all. I will use it up and be done with it. Never going to buy it again.

I called Neutrogena and found out that the product I received was made in 2010.

Outdated Stock
I love this product and have used it faithfully since I received a bottle at Beauty Bash two years ago. QVC is the only place other than eBay where I can purchase it. When I received my package yesterday, I found that the serum was very dark yellow, almost golden, in color. Usually it's more of a cream color when first opened then darkens a little as I use it due to oxidation. My friend who does facials tells me that these products lose efficacy as they age, one reason why Neutrogena suggests that you twist the top of the pump to the closed position to help prevent this. I phoned Neutrogena and after on hold for 30 minutes, the CSR took information and suggested that I don't use the product. She didn't confirm the age of the product, but said that they would have quality control look into the lot number. I'm going to return this product and perhaps switch to something else.

Not this time!
I had used this product before and I liked it. However, it appears that these bottles have been sitting on the shelf for a long time because the color of the cream had turned brown. Usually, when I first purchased this cream it looked sort of off white and when I had it for some time the color slowly changed to light brown. The ones I purchased this time have already turned brown color and I do not think that they are as effective. Too bad for waste of money!

I really wanyed this to work.
I have not seen any improvement at all. I wanted this to be the product that would help with anti-aging and shrink a wrinkle somewhere. No such luck. I am very disappointed QVC.
