What is it: The Runway IQ Volumizing Hot Roller System with heated clips allows you to achieve major volume and softness in an easy-to-use system.

Who is it for: Anyone looking to add volume and glamour to their hairstyle. The Runway IQ adds volume and body, but curl and wave results vary depending on hair length, texture, and density.

The Runway IQ Volumizing System works by heating the rollers to a comfortable temperature in just seconds, allowing you to roll them into your hair and secure with the heated clips. Once in the hair, the rollers continue to heat to the optimal temperature and turn clear on the ends. When the rollers turn back to gray and are cool to the touch, you know your style is set and you can remove the rollers. The innovative clips feature one side of prongs that are longer than the other, allowing the clip to securely wrap around the roller--perfect for those with shorter hair or those who have trouble getting volume and body to last.

How do I use it: When applying the hot rollers, take a small section of hair, and starting at the base, pull the roller through the hair in a smooth, brush-like motion to the
ends of the section and roll into the hair. This will help eliminate tangles.

When removing the hot rollers from the hair, gently grip the sides of the roller
with the thumb and index finger and pull the roller upward and outward in a smooth, brush-like motion. This will help maintain the curl without tangling the hair.

When reheating Runway IQ tools, it is important to follow the heat indicators
of each tool. Hot rollers must appear dark gray--not clear--and be cool to the touch, about 15 to 20 minutes after last heating. Clips must not read "DO NOT REHEAT" and be cool to the touch.

Tip: Please do not remove the hot roller sticker in the bottom of the Runway IQ base.

Not worth the money This hot roller system is truly a waste of money. I have been a huge hot roller fan since the 70's. The best ones are from ION. For $30 to $50 bucks you can't beat it. They have extra large rollers, large and medium for soft ,volumunios curls. Heats up very fast! They can be quite hot when using them but so worth it! 05-07-13

Style lasted all day. I really like this product. I loved the velcro on the rollers as it helped hold my thin, baby fine hair in place. I didn't have any issues with the clips. My hairdo lasted all day and even looked decent after sleeping on it. I thought the heating base was large considering it only held one roller and clip at a time .( Although, I did put 2 at a time in if I was running late. ) I thought for the cost, it should have had a storage place for rollers and clips. I returned the unit for one reason. The rollers were too big for my short hair. FHI's small roller is more of what I consider medium. After checking FHI's website, I found that FHI doesn't make a smaller roller at this time. I couldn't justify the cost if I couldn't get what I needed and wanted. I would consider re-purchasing if smaller rollers eventually are made. 04-23-13

ouch The ends of mine never turned white like it said they would. That being said, the clips did not go all the way around so the curlers were painful to keep in. The clips need to be changed. I sent mine back because I am a headache sufferer and this hurt my head. 04-17-13

Love the Convenience, but not the price I really do love this system and still find it amazing that the rollers heat as quickly as they do. The only time I've ever burned myself is once when I accidentally closed the clip on my finger. In fact, the only complaint I have is that I've gone back to buy extra rollers twice because what I received just wasn't fulfilling my needs (sizewise, not quantity) and they are quite pricey. But once I have exactly what I need, I know I will love this system even more. I can have my hair set in a very few minutes, let the rollers cool and remove and I'm done - love that! Actually, I had longer hair when I first received, but did use a couple of times with no problems; now that my hair is shorter, it's a breeze. 04-17-13

Rollers no good I was very excited to receive these hot rollers, but I have to say I agree with most of the reviews, they are not very good. The hot rollers do not get hot enough for my hair. When I took them out, all I had was a slight wave in my hair. I have fine, straight hair to about the middle of my back. I was also disappointed of the size of the rollers too. They were not the size they said on the show. I would not recommend them to anyone. Sorry 04-04-13

AMAZING ROLLERS...BUT NOT FOR REALLY LONG HAIR i LOVE this technology and would recommend it for short to medium length hair. Rollers work smoothly....heat up quick! But my hair is to my mid back and all this would do is roll the ends :( Not cutting my hair so back they go, but i gave 5 stars coz amazing rollers for the right hair length and texture!!!!! 04-04-13

Don't Waste Time or Money Does not curl hair (even w/small rollers)- only slight volume. Many issues with product-Sent back. Not a good investment. 04-01-13

MAGIC ROLLERS LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!! I ordered these rollers and was hoping for the best. I had previously sent back Calista Tools rollers and had been disappointed. This set is pricey but easy pay helps. When I read the negative reviews it does not make any sense. If you roll your hair correctly it will not get tangled when removing them. I have never had a tangle. I cannot believe in just 8 seconds the roller gets hot. It is like magic. I am able to set my hair every morning without losing time. I was even impressed on how this was packaged. You could tell that FHI takes pride in their product. I buy many things from QVC and do not always take the time to write reviews. But this time I had to voice my opinion. The negative reviews are just not right. If I see this on TV again I will definitely call in. I had very short hair but am growing it out. It is now almost shoulder length and these rollers are just what I needed. THANK YOU AGAIN FHI YOU ARE A WINNER!!!! 03-29-13

WARNING ...unless you want to be bold after a couple of uses DO NOT purchase! This destroys the hair by ripping multiple strands out with each roller that is removed...horrible. I am really upset...luckily I tested the larger size and didn't do the whole head. Horror. 03-29-13

Not satisfied I really don't know how to explain this. I love the volume and how long it lasts, but it is too easy to burn yourself or leave crinkles in the place where you attach the clips. This last time, I forgot the clips could even be heated. There didn't appear to be any difference in the look. Either one roller came in bad shape or I melted it. It was the first one I tried. It takes a while to understand the system. The directions are really not that clear. I wish I had something that would work as well, burn me less, was more foolproof and cost less. I would send them back, but they are not in good enough shape to sent back. I had torn the boxes before I even tried them trying to get them open. I think I'll call customer service and see if they can go back---or maybe not. I just can't decide. Will more practice help? Maybe. Not a total waste, but too expensive for a trial run. 03-28-13

Great Concept but... I thought this system would be the answer to my prayers. Sadly it's not. I have fine, medium length hair and the brush rollers were literally tearing my hair when taking them out. It did add nice body to my hair but it only lasted for the day and that was with using a volumizing mousse, but just not worth the tearing of my hair. 03-27-13

Very Disappointed Instructions clearly state that rollers are to turn white after the 8 second heating dunk. Tested all of the rollers and all stayed the dark grey - the color they are before placing them in the heating element. The rollers heated up slightly, but nothing remarkable and left very little volume or wave in my hair. The Velcro rollers are a nightmare when it comes to tangles and hair loss! Never saw a white tipped roller turn grey - an indication that the roller is ready to be taken out. I'm thinking defective product because the rollers never became white at the ends/tips. I'd like to know if others noted the same. 03-26-13
