It Cosmetics TIGHTLINE Full Lash Line Black Mascara Primer Duo
Glad I found this!
Having short, light and sparse lashes I'm thrilled with this product. I am able to get close to the lid with this wand. I am also able to get close on my lower lashes which I could never do before without clumping. I practically gave up on mascara and I'm happy that you can actually see my lashes.
Okay but not as expected.
Used this mascara twice now, however I don't seem to get any better results than any other mascara. The brush is so tiny, I'm not seeing any benefits from it versus the normal brushes on mascaras. Disappointed, especially for the price paid.
Do not waste your money! Drugstore mascara is better!
IT does it again with Tightline Mascara
This skinny little wand is great! I have blond eye lashes and I have never ever been able to get up to the root with traditional wands. This glides on and is so much easier to apply than most mascaras...I get done in less than half the time because there are no blobs or clumps. This is one of the best products from It Cosmetics, as well as from QVC.
I am waiting to find out whether the primer/conditioner will keep my lashes long and healthy...I have to admit that it was Tarte's Lights, Camera. Lashes that gave me back my lashes at 55 years old. I literally have 3x the number of actual lashes than I did a few months ago!
Just like she said!!
So pleased with this mascara, love this brush concept, it is so fine it can cover the tiniest of lashes - and gives the appearance of full lashes even if you don't have. AUTO DELIVERY!!!!!
waste of money
This maxcara did nothing it promised. There was no eyelining, the mascara flaked, and needed three coats to even been seen. I hope this review saves someone else from spending money on a product the just doesn't deliver what it promises.
Not What I Like
Wand was just too thin. I know what they were trying to do but....
I had to apply way way way to may coats to get my look.
And to try to use this a an eye liner LOL what a joke yes if you want to look like you had been drinking before you applied it.
Sent it back.
And won't be trying another from this line. 2 time looser with this line shame on me.
Don't throw out your eyeliners just yet!
While it's true that you can get very close to your lash line with this brush, it still does not take the place of an actual eyeliner. Perhaps if you are one who doesn't wear liner you may like the effect. For me I still needed to apply liner. I understand this is a primer so I did apply my regular mascara over it. I also tried it alone, without any additional mascara, and I will say that I had no problem with it flaking off or smudging under my eyes. Not enough product for the price! Tiny little tube of product with a loooong cap and the brush. Will be returning this product.
Great product .
This mascara has a small brush leaving no clumps. I have sparse lashes and with this product they are lengthened and separated. I wear contacts so it is important not to have any "debris" in my eyes. Love it!
Does a pretty good job
I have several items by IT cosmetics, and I have been pleased overall, so I thought I'd give this mascara a try. I do like the fact that you can get close to your lash line, and it does a pretty good job of separating your lashes. It's nowhere near as dramatic as what they've shown on the models, but it does a pretty good job. I usually put one coat of this on, then finish off with my lights, camera, action TARTE mascara.
Good mascara with one overlooked advantage
I find this to be a good, drugstore-variety mascara - does the job, stays put, looks nice. It does not add volume or length, contrary to its advertisement. Yes, it can coat the lash hairs from their base unlike large-brush mascaras, but ALL women who are dedicated to wearing mascara know one places the brush as close to the lashes as possible, then firmly wiggles the brush back and forth before pulling it up through the lashes. This is Make-up 101. This simple technique gets the mascara down into the base of the lash line, exactly as Tightline claims to do. No big deal here. But because Tightline wand is the size of a pencil lead (literally) it has one GREAT advantage that has not been mentioned.
For those of us who always manage to get mascara on our lids (no, we don't pull our lids up and out like on TV - ugh - nor do we always look down into a mirror) the wand gets the stuff on the lashes without touching the lids. For those who are tired of using swabs to wipe off the mascara blobs, reapply shadow or redo eyeliner, this is a marvelous invention. We can look directly into the mirror, apply it, and there is no mascara on the lid. For this alone I would buy it again, and perhaps use a thickening mascara gently over it. Tightline has done the major work.
