Denim & Co. Long Sleeve V-Neck Stripe Cardigan
One of the Best from Denim & Co.
I have purchased so many cardigans from Denim & Co., and my only complaint has been that after the first wear, it has pills, especially under the arm area. Maybe because this is a rib, a bit heavier sweater, no pilling. The quality is great. All the colors are perfect and it fits perfect. I love the longer sleeve which I can cuff up. I bought one of every color. My favorite is the grey. For work, weekends and evenings out, it's my to go cardigan. Thank you for this collection. Please bring more of the same, but different patterns.
I got this sweater as a one time only value. Love it! Wore it for the first time, the fit is great, the color nice. I chose the blue. I will come back for the grey and navy!
Nothing about this was right
I don't know what went wrong with this product but I was really disappointed and sent it right back. I got the navy with the green stripe but the navy was soooo dark that it was almost black. If I wanted a black sweater, I'd have ordered a black sweater. Also, Denim & Co. usually runs really big but not with this sweater. The sweater was big in the shoulders and the v area but tight on the bottom. It was just a swing and a miss all the way around. Too bad because it really looked like a cute sweater the one time I saw it on air.
Not as described on TV
No one said it was a "ribbed knit" which I have never liked. The colors are pretty, and I'm glad I sized up. My regular size would be too small for me in this sweater. One of my biggest complaints about QVC presentations of items is that the host(s) are too busy bantering back and forth with "girl" talk instead giving more descriptive info about the product being sold (i.e., sizes, lengths, widths, exact colors vs. the color name of the item by the manufacturer, etc). If they had said this was ribbed, I would NOT have bought it. Now I'm stuck with it and hopefully can find a friend or my daughter who might want it.
I Sized Up
I too had a hard time picking a color and size. I did size up and glad I did. I have not worn this yet and hope it won't stretch out to be too big. I have a large chest and got the XL. It is a relaxed fit and not clingy at all. I got the navy but loved several of the colors.
Hard to Choose Color
All the colors were so pretty it was difficult to choose. It will be nice to have a long
sleeve summer sweater for those air conditioned buildings. Being a rib type sweater
it is more clingy than some people are going to be comfortable with. If this is you and
you want the sweater then just size up if possible. This is the only reason I gave it
a 4 instead of a 5.
I ordered this sweater for the pretty colors. I wore it for the first time today and the buttons won't stay buttoned it feels snug around my stomach. I'm not sure why I ordered my usual denim &co size, its going back. Size up
Just FYI ...
It was never mentioned during the TV presentation nor in the written description but this is a ribbed knit which I personally don't care for. Also, the yarn is not very soft and the ribbed texture makes it feel even rougher. Just wanted to let anyone know who might be thinking about purchasing this sweater. It is very nice looking, though.
Are you getting sick of all the winter clothes..? This is a good transitional piece. You can also get the coordinating tank to wear under it. The heather gray is awesome and I am back for 2 more. Great with jeans but can wear to work too.
So comfortable and flattering. I bought the gray and the navy one. I love them both. They are form fitting without being too tight. I get compliments every time I wear them. :)
Way to long
This sweater had pretty colors in it, but when I tried it on, it was way to long and clung around the middrift, so right back it went. I don't know what's going with QVC's fashions, but everything I've ordered lately I've had to send back, because all the fashions seem to be tunic lenght and even those that aren't suppose to be tunic are too long, so I'm going to stop.
Nicely made sweater
This is a very nice sweater. Definitely a spring or summer weight. I bought brown which looks great with the turquoise stripe. Choosing a color was difficult. Bought XS for a closer body fit but could probably have worn S too. The material has stretch to it so it conforms to your curves without looking too tight. Might go back for a second color.
