A225545 - Bobbi Brown Wild Rose Shimmer Brick
WHAT IS THE HYPE?
THIS IS THE WORST BLUSH I HAVE EVER TRIED. I ORDERED THE WILD ROSE AND ALL IT DID WAS MAKE MY CHEEKS SHINY WITH HARDLY ANY COLOR. I HAVE BETTER AT HOME FOR 1/2 THE PRICE. WILL BE SENDING BACK. WAY TOO MUCH MONEY FOR THIS PRODUCT.
first Bobbie Brown product
I've never purchased a product from Bobbi Brown but saw great review in Style magazine. I went to Nordstrom and the rep put some on me. They only had the bronze color which I loved but wanted the rose colors. QVC gave great reviews..I'm 57 and this went on very sheer without much glitter..no glitter at this stage of my life please. Want to travel light this summer so this will go as a blush and eye shadow. Love it..going to watch Bobbie Brown this week to see how she applies it.
I just rec'd this today and absolutely love it. I haven't had it long enough to try it out for daily use, but the colors are beautiful, soft, feminine and not glitzty. I love the shimmer and not the glitter. Thank you for not putting glitter in this one. I am 62 and have decent skin. Am a cool older lady in that I still like to look fashionable and trendy; not quite ready to pull out the rocking chair just yet. :) My husband liked this on me as well. I have other BB, but this is my favorite shimmer brick. Lives up to it's reviews.
I love this it is the best shimmer brick, just a beautiful rosy glow and natural not as much shimmer as the others. Please make this a staple in the line!!!!! It is much better then the rose etc.....
I use this blush every day. It gives my complexion such a beautiful sheer rosey glow--very natural--like when I was very young and came in from playing in the snow. Very flattering!!
I really like the Bobbi Brown products. This blush is very nice and sweet. If you have a tan the color will be an enhancement to your face and not overwhelming. It will add a nice shimmer and natural glow to your face. On a pale complexion the color should be a soft pink with a nice shimmer.
Best Blush By Far
This is the best Bobbi-Brown product I have purchased! Love the colors and blending....gives a lot or a little color...the choice is yours. Was skeptical at first and thought it was too pricey but like the way it highlights and glows on my face. I use other mineral makeup but I prefer this blush over any I have or purchased in the past. Will definitely buy this again!
My first Shimmer Brick
And I love it! I finally ordered one because this color gradation is perfect for my very fair dry and 65-year-old skin. It goes on so easily, and is absolutely beautiful, not too shimmery at all. I think the secret is there are no big chunks of sparkle, it is a gentle sheen wherever you place it. I use it as a highlighter, but it could work as blush too, or combined with a bronzer in the summer. Love it on eyelids too, really pretty, perks up matte shadows for evening.
I have tried every blush and cheekstain product there is and I have finally found one that IS what it claims to be. I am 69 yrs old and still work full time. I use it daily as my blush and it leaves me with a soft, natural coloring that lasts all day until I take it off at night. It does not fade away and does not impart any unwanted glittery look. I swirl my brush across the entire palette and it creates the perfect blend of colors and I never have to retouch it during the day. Thank you Bobbi Brown !
My favorite shimmerbrick
I got this from BB online earlier and the Rose one from QVC a while back. This new Wild Rose is not as shimmery as the regular rose and seems to be cooler toned. I like it a lot better for blush than the more shimmery one. I am really pale and this shows up really nicely and blends easily. Don't know how it would be on darker skin. I llike the paler pinks used as eyeshadow but have to use a sponge eyeshadow applicator to get it to look right. A brush just barely gets it on the lid to show up, but works fine to highlight under the brow. The regular rose seems brighter as a blush and more of a peachy undertone somehow, and this one I can brush on and don't even have to blend. BTW, i don't like the blender brush that comes with these. I like to use a smaller blush brush of a good quality so I can put it on without it going on so much of the cheek area. It seems to give a more natural blush appearance that way and not as dark or heavy on the color.
