Color not as in picture!
This was my first D&B purchase. I like a simple purse so I thought this would fit the bill. I fell in love with the sky blue color of this bag in the picture. However, when I received it yesterday it is more of a stormy blue, muted color. I was looking for a light summery color punch but this is NOT it. Sadly will be sending back and now wary of ordering any future bags from this company. :( Also agree with other reviews that the strap is too short. I like to carry a bag under my arm and the straight shape across the top of this one just does not work, even with my items weighing it down. It does drop a bit, but it creases the front of the bag in an unattractive way. Too many misses to keep for the price. BEWARE!

I LOVE THIS PURSE!!!
I read all the reviews on this bag and almost didn't buy it, but I am SO glad I did. I got it in pink and it is a soft, beautiful color pink. I have tried to "down size" all the stuff that I carry in my purse but it never seems to work. This bag is large and accomodates all of my "stuff'. I also LOVE that it's not a heavy bag as some are. I read alot of criticism about the shoulder strap, but I love it! It fits just under my arm perfectly and I feel more secure having it there as opposed to dangling down. I HIGHLY recommend this bag! You will love it! Glad I didn't listen to the reviews! Thank you Dooney and Bourke! P.S. Great price too!!!

Nice size, Dooney colors are the worst!!!!
I chose to review this handbag because I did purchase it through QVC. The blue is NOT pale, baby blue (as it looks in the picture), however I may be able to live with it. Haven't decided to keep or not. Previously, this past January, I ordered this same purse in the pink (I like the plain, simpleness of the style). However, sent the pink back because as another reviewer put it is the color of "Pepto Bismol pink". I also have a longer handle that will make this a shoulder or crossbody if needed. My problem is Dooney's colors. I absolutely hate most of them. I may not be the majority, but if anyone out there supports my dislike of the colors, please write and let them know and MAYBE we will start getting some real wearable colors. I like the creams, whites, naturals and pastels. On Dooney's own website, they have some beautiful colors (I've seen them at their OUTLETS TOO).
One color is sort of a cross between soft marine blue and aqua. At the outlet, it was beautiful!!!! Just out of my price range, at the moment (right after holidays). PLEASE, Dooney, bring us some nice subdued colors. I know brights are in style, but that doesn't mean everything you do has to be bright and not everyone likes every fashion style that comes off the runway! In particular, the greens you have chosen are horrible. I don't know who is buying these ulgy things. They must have money to burn. Aside from color, I love your brand. I believe it is the most well made choice I have (that I can, sometimes afford). It is MADE BETTER than COACH. I have several of those too. Yours is just a step above. I also would prefer if you would go back to your original gray and/or pink linings. They stay put and I don't have to fight with them coming up out of the bag as I pull out my wallett. This will make a very big difference as to whether or not I continue to buy Dooney. If it's not broke, don't fix it!!!!! Thank you for your exquisite new florentine leather. I got one in a beautiful deep cream color off the internet. I love it. Everyone has commented on the beautiful color. See, not everyone wants BRIGHT. I would love a baby pink and baby blue color SOON-even for winter season. And see if you can get a pretty taupe, like Coach makes. Yours is not pretty. Hope you can appreciate the honesty. Really just trying to help. Love you guys!

Not what I expected
This bag looked so nice in blue on the TV, but when I actually received it I was very disappointed. The blue was so faded and it just didn't stand out. I had to return it as it was no where near the color.

Love this bag!
I am using every ounce of self control to NOT order one more in red, and one more in the darker tan color....I got the light blue and I love it! It is a good size without being too large, has a nice weight to it....it's just gorgeous! When I first took it out of the box, I wasn't quite sure about it. The leather seemed a little stiff but it has softened up really nicely. i do not find the strap to be too short at all. My friends are drooling over this bag. This is my first Dooney purchase.

pretty in pink
very pretty coloring , was a little smaller than expected from the measurements. the leather is very soft , and no problem as being on the shoulder. I did have a problem with no feet on the bottom of purse. I have found with bags I have with out the feet, get entirly too dirty, and show wear. I have 8 D&B bags, the one I have with out the feet is really showing wear on bottom and having a hard time getting clean. With this bag being pink cotton cady I can not afford to keep without feet. I would get scuffed/ wear and just not worth the cost . I really love D&B and this pink is such a gret color for the spring into summer.

Valentine's Day Red!
I wasn't sure what to expect by ordering this bag since the reviews vary. But, I decided to go ahead and order it since it came in my favorite color red. Well, it arrived today and it is beautiful! The leather is so supple, the chain detail on the handles, and the beige details are just right. The D&B logo is on the bottom of the bag on the beige tassel sides, if you are looking for it. Otherwise, it is a classic bag that you can wear to the office as well as weekend events. The red color is the perfect Valentine's Day red. Definitely purchase this bag if you are thinking about it. Great price and 5 easy pay :-)!!!

Nice Bag
I like it because it is much lighter and much easier to carry. Only thing diferent I would like is if they would also include a shoulder strap. I happen to have one from one of my other bags and it is perfect. The strap on the bag is really short. I like to be able to have a crossbody strap when I need it. So I am going to get another one in red. Do wish they would start putting outside pockets on the bags for cell phones. I can't hear my phone very well inside my bag. This one has a zip on the outside. Needs one more.

Cute spring/summer leather bag
This purse is GORG!! I ordered the pink and I must say it is what needed. Great add to my collection! It is a nice size and it holds alot which I was surprised about. The strap is short, however, its just right for me. So tempted to order the blue!!!

pretty red
I purchased this bag in the red in feb' and the leather is very nice. I have many DBs and tthis pebbled one is soft very functional not to big that over whelms you not to small . I was surprised ! and so easy to see my stuff opens wide. no matter how you carry it' looks nice. to me it was a nice purchase :)

Pepto Bismol pink color
Love the size, my color pink not looking like the sample on the computer which is more pastel in nature. My pink bag reminds me of bubbe gum pink. The metal chain is different, and I like the strap length-perfect for hanging on my arm. I may buy the blue shade also, but would like to read a review from someone first as I really want the more pastel blue color shown. Please if you buy the blue color let me know if it is dark or light. Thanks!

Love that there is no logo
We don't all need to broadcast which brand we're carrying or how much we may have spent. I like a bag with no logo. I wish Dooney would make more fabric bags without the logo. To me, they make the best fabric bags, but I will not carry someone else's initials around all day.
Also, love the pink!
