Lovely Leather
The leather used here is just super -- very, very soft and easy to work with. The bag itself is just too small for me, so I am returning it, but I would definitely recommend ordering it if you are undecided.

Very Pretty
I ordered this bag in the caramel and really loved it. The only problem was that the opening of the bag is small and makes it hard to get into. Loosening the tassel helped but then it looked funny and just wasn't right.

Beautiful
This is a very pretty handbag! I got the champagne. Very classy, I did notice that the color is starting to rub off on the shoulder strap, where the strap hits your shoulder.
I hope it doesn't get worse, I don't use this bag everyday. Maybe it only happens with the metallic colors.

Amazing Bag!
I bought this bag for the pretty purple color and thought that I would just wear it for special occasions with several outfits that it matches. However, I've been carrying the bag all week and just love how it works. The leather is sooooo soft! It's deep enough to fit my iPad and has enough pockets inside and out to hold all the things I need on my daily commute...my work blackberry, my own cellphone, my iTouch, my metro card and work ID are all easily accessible because of the multitude of pockets. And for a hobo bag, things don't seem to get lost in the bottom of the bag. I personally don't have any problems with the fact that the tassel is only on the front and am actually thinking I need this bag in another color!

so soft
I love the leather of this bag. It's so soft. It's the first time I've ever really carried a bucket bag so I'm still getting used to it, but I love all the different pockets to keep everything in it's place and the color is beautiful. I got the marigold and it's a little more muted than what it appeared on screen but I actually prefer it in real life.
I've been carrying it for two weeks and have gotten TONS of compliments.

Love the size, but...
I was happy to recieve this bag but, after useing it for 2-3 weeks the champagne finish began to rub off on the back just below the cell phone pocket! Next I discovered the side zipper pulls hardware was on backwards! I have serveral B Bags and unfortunely this one was a dissapointment. Loved the size and style but for the cost of these bags the finish shoulds not be coming off after a few weeks. I have a bag in pewter and have had no problems with it's finish. This one had to go back. :(

Nice bag but . . .
I ordered this bag wanting a new (cool) basic black bag. The leather, as expected, is gorgeous. Soft, supple, smooth. The new style square grommets look very cool too and add a different look to the bag. But unfortunately as others have noted you will look much better coming than going. The drawstring doesn't go all the way around, nor do the grommets, so the back is just a plain flat back. I should have noticed it on the pictures but I guess I wasn't looking that hard. As others stated, the opening is small and I had quite a bit of trouble, frustration really, getting things in and out. It is definately one of those bags that you need to put down in front of you before rummaging around. It is a beautiful bag, just not for me.

Disappointed
I ordered this bag strictly from the description on this site, and was disappointed that the drawstring does not pull around the entire bag. It only cinches around the front side, and because of this I don't like the way it hangs. I do have many B Makosky bags, and love the softness of the leather as well as the quality of his bags. Sorry, but this one goes back.

Nice bag, beautiful leather
The bag was not a good style for me. It had an opening that seemed small also. For a North/South style you need a wide opening to dig deep! The drawstring detail was not a real drawstring - it is just for looks I guess. I purchased this thinking it could be drawn up like a true drawstring bag. Otherwise this is a pretty color and nice leather. I got the yellow and it was nice and cheerful. Leather had that odor that QVC items seem to have lately. If you let item air it gets better but it never has that lovely leather smell we all like. All the brands seem to be becoming contaminated with this sort of machine oil odor. No telling what manufacturers are doing. It seems to be a coating of some sort.

I bought this bag in the caramel, this is a pretty color & best hobo I have ever bought. I would like for him to bring more colors in this bag, such as dark brown, red, and maybe some more fashion colors beside the yellow color.

Should have been a TSV!!
Now THIS should have been a TSV - it would have been a run-away-train! The Champagne is outstanding; the updated shape of the metal and quality of this buttery leather is divine. It is deep, but the lining makes everything inside easy to see. Yes, it puddles, so if you are not fond of that factor it may not be for you; but with this particular bag that a non-issue for me - it's too good. I have arm jewelry!!!!!

LOVE this bag!
This is the first B. Mak bag I have ever bought and it's gorgeous. Love the caramel color and the leather couldn't be softer, yet it is subtantial. I think B. Mak has become my favorite bag designer and I doubt I will go back to my previous favorite label!
