Vendors are now selling on QVC?
I have never owned a B. Makowsky before and this did not blow me away at all. It's just a reg. cross body bag. The straps feel cheap for such an expensive bag. My Tommy Hilfiger wallet does not fit into the wallet slot. The turnlock had a mark on it and a very small dot on the bag as well (is this seinfeld?) I looked on the return shipping label and it said "VNDR SKU monica/claudine" If this is a true reseller going through the QVC website? I think that is very disheartening. I want to order from QVC not monica/claudine.

Pretty to look at only
I was so excited when I ordered this bag and incredibly disappointed when I tried to use it. Everything about this bag hinges on the turnlock and the flap. The bag can not be closed on the run, the leather is too soft and to close the bag you have to stop what you're doing, hold it from the back and line up the lock and turn it. The turnlock also turns too easily as well.
When I received it the turnlock was already scratched up, this was a horrible let down. I used it for a day and a half and completely gave up. In the middle of the 2nd day I switched back to my Tignanello bag and went right to the post office. It gets only one star since it was pretty to look at, but if I could get away without giving it any stars at all I would.

what is going on?
Color is awful, turnlock clunky, bag is ugly....gave it two stars instead of one because the leather is nice.
Going back....this is the 4th purchase in a row that is being returned because of quality and how the item looks. Almost ready to cancel my QVC account. A shame....

In the black..
I only know how this bag is in the black and the leather is VERY soft, the handle is padded and the bag lightweight. The dimensions of this particular bag are perfect for me at 5'5 and petite and can wear it on my shoulder using the short handle and it stays put. The only thing I don't really care for is the big clunky turnlock. It could have been scaled down or made more feminine looking but it's not a deal breaker for me. Also, this bag holds its shape when filled but the turnlock can be hard to close if the bag is not filled up very much. I also like a similar bag a225083 but the dimensions of that are bigger and would probably be much too big for me but it does have certain elements that I prefer. I thought my quest for the perfect bag had ended already with a219009 but I wanted this one too. :)

B. Makowsky? Are You Sure?
Was so excited to receive this bag, until I opened the box. The leather was not soft and supple, felt like very inexpensive leather. Absolutely not the B Makowsky standard. The purse looks and feels like a $30.00 bag! Maybe Bruce isn't so hands on anymore, this one is going back in the morning. Don't think I'll buy another B. Mac bag again. Sorry Bruce at one time you were my favorite handbag designer.

Matte snake print has nothing for me!
I guess I should have looked closer at the discription. Matte snake print, yuk! This bag had no shine no luster it looked like it was made of rubber. I have 12 B.Mak bags and this was his worst ever!!!!!!!!! It looked bigger on TV, and the shape was different but not for me. I guess I am use to he totes and zip top handbags. This one went right back the same day I got it. Sorry Bruce this is a failure in my book.

leather marks
I own other bags which are great but not this one. I ordered the pink, it arrived in good shape, however, as soon as I used it the leather began to mark up with white lines, giving it a cheap apperance. I would return it except the box and paperwork got thrown out by mistake.

Not happy
This was my first Makowsky purchase and I absolutely loved the feel of it and the room inside. I was not happy with trying to close the Turnlock. I could only close it when the purse was laying flat and then I had to push and pull on the leather to close it. Twice in one outing I found all my things on the floor because the Turnlock wasn't closed properly. I found this a big problem if I hadn't noticed or heard the items falling. Not happy at all with the purse in regards to security.

I would another one if only.....
OK...I might still buy another... This is my 4th B. Mak purse and I pledge allegiance to the brand and the man. What a kind gentleman B. Mak is.. who seems down to earth.... what a pleasure to watch. And of course...what a wonderful product!!! I love the leather and the special touches each item has. I bought the snakeskin of this and ...silly enough, the turn lock was the final touch that really put this particular purse in my cart. The other B Mak purses I have are crossbody bags and I have become dependent on the crossbody purse as it keeps my hands free. Now... I love the size of this bag. Love Love Love but (sorry) the strap needs to be longer (for me) to use this as a crossbody. Well I use it as such but it looks and feels a little silly. It would be nice to be able to have an option as to the length of straps to choose from or if it could get longer than this one does. The strap will not get long enough. I must say that the short handle on top is kind of cute with a special finesse. :-) PLEASE... This is a wonderful size for a cross body for me. Keep 'em coming. Love ya. I would give you a 4.7 if I had the option and round it up to a 5 but feel the need to choose the 4 due to the difficultly in making this a crossbody.

YES AND NO...
I purchased two of these bags and am really glad I did. I got the black and the snake. I am in love with the black, I have never felt such beautiful leather. It's the perfect size bag, large crossbody, with a shorter, padded, adjustable strap. I am petite and so many of the crossbody bags go halfway down my thigh. This is perfect! It is not too heavy and has awesome organization. Hardware is pretty too, so nice to see a black bag with gold hardware. Now for the "NO" part, the snake is truly awful!!! Being matte, the snake has no life whatsoever. It actually looks like the leather was printed with a photo. Hard to describe, just very odd and unattractive. It also feels like rubber. Yuck!!! I have another BMak with snake trim which is gorgeous and has matte and shine to it, this doesn't even look closely related. Another big problem is the flap. The leopard lining and the snake look terrible together and you and everyone else can see that when you open it. The snake should have had leather lining on the flap. It's cute on the black and gives it a nice "POP". Hope this helps!!!

GREAT BAG
LOVE, LOVE THIS BAG. IT'S TOTALLY BEAUTIFUL, ROOMY, SOFT AND CUTE AS CAN BE. GOT COMPLIMENTS ON THIS ONE. LOVE THE EXTRA STRAP FOR CROSS BODY. WILL BE BUYING MORE BAGS FROM MAKOWSKY. WELL MADE.

The leather is like butter......
Oh my, this bag is better in person than on TV. The leather is so soft and I love the look of the top stitching. I purchased it in the vachetta color.
