CE by Cristina Ehrlich Ditsy Floral Print Jumpsuit
Got lots of compliments
I expected to be a small, but when I saw the size chart, I ordered XXS based on the measurements - and it fits me perfectly. I'm 5'4", and had to get two inches taken off the hem. My alterations lady and her other customers all oohed and aahed over how it looked on me, saying jumpsuits are back in fashion again and this was a really cute one. I love the faux silk fabric and the ditsy floral pattern. I do not like the self-belt, but it looks great with other belts. The vendor said it should be worn loose, but I'd feel like I was in a onesie so I bought a more fitted size.
For those long & lean...
This looked so cute on the designer in the video! I'm usually a med but sized down to a small based upon the garment specific measurement chart. Ordered both colors & print is cute, though a little too much of it on me. IF you are young, long, lean & tall, then this is for you. Unfortunately just didn't work for me. I'm 5'4" or 5"5" & this was about 6-7" too long. That wouldn't be a deal breaker as can be hemmed, but it was also too long in the torso, causing too much "blousing" @ the waist, which disrupts that hoped for long, lean look in a jumpsuit. Granted, I'm a little short-waisted. Bummer!
I love the idea of a jumpsuit and plan on wearing this one for a summer wedding. I am 5.7 and have longer torso, shorter legs(usually go for a 31 inseam), broad shoulders, athletic size 10 (37 years old). I purchased the size small and the fit is great. It is a tad long but I plan on wearing with some wedge sandals or will just have it hemmed. The legs are very billowy but I like that it is unexpected and fun. From the side it gives a very long and lean line to the body. I was happy to purchase as a "Lunchtime Special" and almost wish that I had ordered the Navy as well. If it goes to a "Last Click" price and they have my size I may go ahead and get it.. The material is nice and cool with a nice drape and I don't think it will wrinkle and would pack well. It will look nice with a wide belt and I will probably wear it with a cardigan, jean jacket or fitted jacket. I would love it in a solid black, navy or brown. I am thinking that it may even be cute tucked into boots? Huh, I will have to play around with that and see?
Took a chance ordering this when it was a lunchtime special. It is sssoo cute! Only problem is the length - it is very long so must get is shortened. The fabric is so soft, flows and light - perfect for hot summer days. My first jumpsuit in 30+ years - memories. . .
Great piece for summer
I'm 5'5" 140, 34C and I purchased the small in blue. The blue is a nice summer blue doesnt look heavy, material is lite and hangs nicely. I did have to have it hemmed (I wear alot of flat sandals) but I knew that by the product description 32.5 inseam, I'm a true 28.5 flat footed.
Yes, IT IS TOOOO long
but it is so cute otherwise. Nice fit, material, and style. Don't know what she was thinking to make it so long. I am 5' 1" and 6-7 inches needs to come off of it. I had planned on having it hemmed just hope it's not too expensive or will have to return. Love the pockets too, has a 70's look to it too, which I love. Hubby liked it too. I got the xs
I wanted to like it but.....
I have always liked jumpsuits but this one is all wrong.
I ordered an extra small but it fit like a large: too low at the neckline, much too long, and
the material seemed heavy and would probably be hot.
It went back right away.
Each day I check out the lunchtime specials, and I thought this was a find, so I ordered. Well, I'm 5'6" and weigh 118 lbs., and this jumpsuit completely overpowered me. It's a shame, because it's cute, but it was just too much fabric and print for me, not to mention (as everyone has said), it was about 4 inches too long when I tried it on with my 4-inch wedge sandals! I looked completely ridiculous in it, so I had to send it back...
Jump Suits are Back!!!
I just recieved this in both colors. I was a little concerned that the colors would be two close but, they are not enough for me. That said, I have two of these that are just so cute. I love the slightly weighty fabrick and it feels perfect for the summer. Will love just being me in this which means I can dress up or down., My first CE purchase, but won't be my last.,
I have to love this jumpsuit because with the reviews about it being too long.. I had already resolved to have it altered. I love it because it is a JUMPSUIT! Such a refreshing change to the maxis (which I can't live without!) and the long skirts. Cristina you are definitely on my radar- You speak to my choice of style :0) (although different lengths would be awesome as I couldn't wear the jumpsuit right away because of alteration time.)
Way too long!!
I could have mopped my floor with this. I love everything about this jumpsuit but way too long. I am going to see if I can get a good deal on the hemming . If not I will give this to my daughter. She is 5'6 and I hope it fits her. As for me I am 5"4, 135lb and a 32c. I ordered a xs. I f more people shared this information then we would all cut down on the returns. QVC has an awsome return department so if all fails I will return.
I like the fabric and style. My only complaint is it seems short in the torso. Or it could be that my torso maybe too long or breast too large because when I walk in it rides up. It does run long in the leg. I am 5’6” and I will have to wear at least 2 inch+ heels or it going to drag on the floor. I am going to take it to a tailor to see what can be done to fit me better because I really like this a lot. It reminds of a jumpsuit I had about 10 years ago.
