DO NOT Waste Your Money!!!!
I agree with others who say this is the worst self tanner ever. The list of issues with it is long: - It made my skin a strange orange color -it did not tan evenly - It began to rub off immediately on my capris - over night more rubbed of on the sheets - it would stay in certain areas no matter how much I tried to wash it off making it look like there was something very wrong with my skin. What a disappointment from a company that normally gives us great products. They need to go back to the drawing board on this one

Wish I could give it zero stars
I'm shocked that this is rated so high as it was the worst self tanner I have ever used and I've used a lot of self tanners. I am a HUGE philosophy fan and can't live without Hope in a Jar, The Present, The Great Mystery, the Supernatural lip pencil, and an assortment of shower gels and lotions, so I was very excited to try this self tanner. I am very pale and applied a light layer, knowing that I can always build color rather than remove it. It went on very greasy and made my legs feel sweaty all evening. The color was splotchy and orange-ish and it began to run and rub off within a few hours on certain parts of the leg and then on others it took almost a week to wear off. I looked diseased! It went directly into the trash and I will never order it again and do not recommend it at all. The only upside for me is that I bought the set with the bag and the other products in the set are my usual faves, so I didn't waste a lot of money.

I'm Casper white and it worked great for me!
I'm surprised that this has gotten some low reviews. I don't find it to be "orange" at all. I'm really pale and it works like it says, "gradually" , and it's a natural look. It has a very faint smell, but I kind of like it. Nothing unpleasant. I like the texture of the lotion and it goes on easily. Very happy with the product!

Nice "Jaffa" Color
I got this product in a six piece summer kit. I went about trying it in the usual way. Then Oh No I turned bright orange. I was so embarrased, really really orange. No other self tanning product I have used had quite such a bad turn-out, (and I have tried so many). Be careful with this!! Qvc has several good self tanners on offer I have listed two very good ones below.

Terrific Tanner!
This is the first self-tanner I have used that really works on my skin - absolutely no streaking, no orange - just a nice even tan shade. I've tried just about everything that exists and wasn't planning to try again due to bad results. After I saw the presentation, it was like - oh why not try one more. I didn't have high hopes for a workable product but I have been very pleasantly surprised and completely pleased with the philosophy product (believe me this is good stuff!). Great product!!

Results in one day
I have never used a self tanner before and wanted to try it to see if I could even out my "farmer's tan". I am very sensitive to the sun so I have a V-neck tan! I put it on yesterday morning and today -- I was amazed! There in the mirror was a tan! I only used a little dab and got great results. I'm so excited about this product.

Less Smell Than Others
I have only used this for a little bit and have to say it does not smell as bad as others I have tried. At first it seemed like a citrus scent but it turns after a while to smell more like chemicals. I like to wear self tanner to even out brown spots on my arms. This goes over my moisturizer and leaves my skin soft., not sticky. I will buy this again even though it is sort of expensive.

Best Self Tanner Ever!!!
I have tried several self tanners and have been very dissapointed. I tried this product and was delighted with the results. There is no odor, no streaking, and no orange color. It gives me a natural looking tan and moisturizes my skin. I love it!!

DISAPPOINTED
I'M A PHILOSOPHY GIRL THROUGH AND THROUGH BUT WHEN I OPENED THE PACKAGE AND SAW HOW SMALL THE ITEM WAS, I SIMPLY COULD NOT JUSTIFY THE PRICE. FOR ME, THIS IS NOT A GOOD VALUE. I WILL SAY THOUGH, THAT THE PRODUCT DOES NOT HAVE AN ODOR WHICH IS QUITE DIFFERENT FROM MOST SELF TANNERS. I DID PUT SOME OF THE TANNER ON THE TOPS OF MY HANDS AND THIS MORNING I DO HAVE SOME COLOR ON THEM. I'M SURE THE PRODUCT GIVES YOU SOME COLOR BUT THE 4 OZ. WOULDN'T TAKE ME LONG TO GO THROUGH. IF THE ITEM CAME IN A LARGER OZ. SIZE FOR THE SAME PRICE I MIGHT CONSIDER IT.

Not for Me
I purchased this product because I can no longer tolerate the sun but wanted to have some color in my skin. I followed the directions to a tee and even used all Philosphy products. Parts of my body were too dark and uneven. Couldn't wait for it to wear off. Will not purchase again.

Not enough product for the cost
I love the natural tan I get from the product. It cost too much for the small amount of product. Therefore I will not be ordering it again. Also poor packaging; white writing on yellow tube. I can’t see the words.

Best i've found, love it!!!!
I really like this better than the others i've tried. So glad it dries after being applied. Others i could feel on my skin all day and would irritate my legs but this one does not. I'm fair and it gave my a pretty tan color and not as orange as others. The smell is not as strong as other tanners, this one doesn't bother me. Thanks Philosophy i've finally found one i LOVE!!!!!
