Love it, BUT...
I love George Simonton's fashions, and this is a beautiful skirt. That being said, I am 5'5" tall and first ordered the regular size because the petite was sold out. The regular was many inches too long. When the petite came back in stock, I ordered the petite. Just recently received it and it is too long! I am so surprised about that. Even with high sandals it drags on the floor. I am taking it to an alterationist, because I love it, to see if anything can be done. Very disappointing.

lovely...but sizing issues
I have many, many Simonton items and love them all. I adore this fabric. The print
on the skirt is lovely indeed.
The 3 stars is simply because the length is off. Mine is far from the petite length that i ordered and is longer that the length of the regular. I'm having to remove 6 inches to get it "up" to my feet and I'm 5 foot five inches...not all that short.
I shouldn't have to pay to alter something so severely that is not the length shown on the description.

GOR-GE-OUS!!!
I couldn't believe my eyes when I received this skirt! It's more lovely in person than shown on the video! And the fabric feels like both a woven and a knit- so light and lovely! The print goes with many more colors than I had imagined. A word about the length: I'm 5'3" and short waisted (longer legs), so rarely order petites. Because of the review comments that the regular was long, I hit the 'click here' button for precise sizing information, double checked myself with a tape measure, and ordered the petite. I like my long skirts long - and this one just skirts the floor with flats, or is one inch above with my favorite heels. PERFECT! QVC provides the best possible help with sizing - but you have to make use of it. It helps to know your honest measurements and check the website before ordering. Thank you, George Simonton!!!

Yes it's long
Long is better than short. I roll it up. It isn't bulky and it is still lovely.

Outstanding
I ordered the petite length in orange and it's perfect on me: I'm 5'6" and wear low heels or flats. I also ordered the same size in the regular length, but it was too long seeing I don't wear high heels.
The fabric is perfect for the drape of this skirt......it feels very posh and ladylike. I love it. The print is amazing and different. You will not see yourself coming and going in this fabric. I wore it for Mother's Day brunch and felt great.
I don't think the length deserves a one star rating. This fabric is fantastic.

Great Skirt
I just received this lovely skirt in the orange color. It fits great and I am 5"3" and 131 lbs and the petite length is just right. I ordered it in my usual XS size, although it might have fit a bit better in the XXS size which I figured out a little too late. That size had already sold out, but i'm certainly not disappointed and won't be returning it. With all the color in the skirt, I plan to wear it with a plain white tee and I can wear it with flats or heels. I'm happy to see more maxi dresses and skirts in the petite length. Us petite ladies may be short in height but not on style.

TOO LONG
I am 5'7" and had to pull this skirt up above my bra in order to avoid tripping on it. TOO long. Please measure your length on average women -- not models.
