5-Piece Interchangeable OneSole Shoes by Lori Greiner
Have to say LOVE Lori Greiner products, in general...Read all the "poor" reviews. I second and third all the other shortcomings. Returned the first pair for a larger size; I will have to return the second set as well - The first time I switched colors, the snaps were set so tight, despite my best efforts, one of the snaps tore off.
Interestingly, they are now on sale for almost 1/2 price.
I love them. I bought the extra tops and just love the shoe. The heel height is great. I bought a size larger than I normally wear and they are perfect. I can take one shoe and get 6 different fashions. Just wish I had thought of it first. Awesome for travel.
These shoes were adorable. The size seemed right, I liked the heel height, and the straps were nicely made and sturdy, and stayed on like nobody's business--no worries of the snaps coming loose and losing the top of the shoe! The length seemed just right for my foot (I ordered a 7M, which is my normal shoe size), but when I walked, my foot kept slipping down the shoe so that my toes would end up over the edge a bit. Very uncomfortable and annoying! By the time I faced that Houston, we had a problem, it was too late to return, so I gave them away. And btw, my feet are a bit wide, so it wasn't that the shoes were too big; maybe the foot bed was too slippery? Whatever the explanation, I couldn't handle it! Too bad, the concept is genius!
Priced too high
I think these would be worth it if priced under $40. However, the soles seem too light to give me a stable feel on my feet. The interchangable tops are cool, I think and the size guide included suggests the size of snap on tops they sent for my size 8 shoes are too large. They included medium tops with the 8 and should have sent small tops. The sole does fit my foot size correctly though. I'm really a size 7.5 so I feel like the tops should be tighter to keep the shoe on my foot correctly, even with my wider foot. They do make a loud slapping sound. I wore them to IKEA and it was fine the whole way through. Maybe just have to get used to them. Like I said, priced too high no matter what.
Needs to be improved
I love the concept of these shoes. This review might be biased as I have foot issues and mostly live in Birk's...perhaps others will find them more comfortable than I did. I could not wear them for more than an hour without the soles of my feet aching/hurting. I purchased Dr Scholl's intersoles (for all womens shoes). They help. I would really love these shoes if the intersoles could be made with a good quality comfortable material
I was so excited to receive these shoes. Changing tops of the shoes I thought would be such a good idea. Unfortunately these shoes on my feet felt horrible! Sent them back the same day I received them.
I bought the shoes hoping they would be what I was looking for. The size of the shoe is so small and narrow that it is all the away around uncomfortable. Poor design
The idea of the exchanges was perfect and I wore them today for the first time, but they made such a slapping sound it was distracting. When I returned home I tried on other backless shoes, to compare, and there was nothing even remotely close to the loud sound these made. I read the reviews before I decided to return them to make certain that I did not receive a defective pair and that a replacement would produce different results, but since other reviewers complained of the slapping , I decided not to take the chance and returned them today for a refund. If you like to walk with music you may find these shoes satisfactory because otherwise they are adorable. In any event, this is the first Lori Greiner return for me. I purchase many of her innovated products and will continue to do so.
Poor quality; NOT comfortable
Seriously, I wanted to love these. But they look cheap and feel even worse. Band does not hold foot securely and my heel was slipping all over. I expected some "slapping" sound form the heel, but this is really loud and annoying. Definitely not worth the money. If the quality were improved - more comfortable foot bed - and the band made of more sturdy material....it's a maybe.
SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT SOONER
I purchased these shoes recently and I am now kicking myself because I should have bought them sooner. I am overweight and have bad feet and these are sooooo comfortable. Of course they are not for hiking or exercising but they are very lightweight and don't hurt your feet like most mules do after walking around for a couple hours. I love them so much I have already purchased the changeable covers in color. I plan on going to the website for more. If you are thinking about these DON'T WAIT, you will NOT be sorry.
I'm shocked by the reviews I've read. I bought these before they were available on QVC (I saw them on Shark Tank over a year ago). On a side note I'm confused as to why Lori has her name on them. They are great shoes. If your feet hurt around the toe area, or if they feel too tight, you might have the uppers on wrong. I have very wide feet and the uppers fit fine because they're very stretchy. They do make a flip/flop noise as do most open slide shoes. I've had so much trouble with my feet including surgeries, but I really have no trouble with these shoes. I have bought many extra uppers of all styles and colors. I take these shoes on all trips because you can pack as many uppers as you want and pack only one pair of shoes. Very versatile and economical considering the amount of choices of uppers you can get. Love, love, love these. I wish they'd make them in white now.
Not worthy of LoriGreiner
One sole terrible design, poor fit due to the design. The interchangeable uppers could have worked well with a one sole of a different design. Extremely disappointed. Could not wait to get back into the mail to return to QVC.
