What is it: The WEN Spring Gardenia Green Tea Cleansing Conditioner is a limited-edition, universal formulation created with the hopes of bringing customers the soothing and familiar scents of spring.

Who is it for: All hair/skin types.

Why is it different: The WEN by Chaz Dean product line will help effectively cleanse and hydrate your hair without stripping or robbing it of its natural nutrients and oils.

How do I use it: Cleansing Conditioner should be applied in four sections: crown, nape, ends on the right, and ends on the left. For hair above your ears, use a minimum of 12 pumps (three pumps per section). For hair above your shoulders, use a minimum of 16 pumps (four pumps per section). For hair down to your shoulders, use a minimum of 24 pumps (six pumps per section). For hair past your shoulders, use a minimum of 32 pumps (eight pumps per section). For hair to your mid-back, use a minimum of 40 pumps (10 pumps per section). For thicker/coarser hair, increase amount of pumps in order to thoroughly cleanse the scalp and hydrate ends. Love this scent and the results! I got the 4 piece cleanse, protect, finish set on A-D... It was a TSV and was on a wait list...WELL WORTH THE WAIT! So glad it's on A-D!! First off, I have had horrible hair for years (since chemo): dry, brittle, frizzy but so THICK you could break a wooden brush off in it...and possibly lose it for life! Anyway, I am the skeptic to bar all others...and believe me when say I have tried EVERY product I can get my hands on to soften, de-frizz, and tame this "hot mess" on my head! I've dreamed of "run your fingers through it" hair forever. Well, thanks to me being BRAVE and taking the WEN plunge, I now have the most beautiful hair I've ever had in MY WHOLE LIFE! I can not only run my fingers through it, I can BLOW DRY IT and NOT worry about having "finger in a light socket" hair! It's bouncy, healthy, and shiny! I get many compliments on my color and shine now...where as before, it was a dull, dry, MESS! I didn't ever wear my hair don because it was always a disaster...but now, it's down just about every day! I also use half a pump of Styling cream before I blowdry and a dime size of finishing cream just before my hair is totally dry! Things to make you aware: 1.) If you have a gummy, or sticky feeling after your first use, USE MORE PUMPS of product in your hair and leave it in LONGER! Dirty hair in need of moisture does that sticky thing noticeably with this particular cleansing product. 2.) there is a minty, menthol overtone in just about every scent...most noticeably the Lavender. Some have mentioned the Lavender smells "mediciny". If you are a natural Lavender lover, you may shy away from that scent. The Cucumber Aloe, and Gradenia are great crisp, clean, soft scents you may like. I love the Lavender, Cucumber Aloe, and Gardenia. Just depends on my mood as to which one I use. 3.) there is NO lather, so don't freak out if you don't see suds! 4.) RINSE, RINSE, RINSE but use Luke warm water, NOT HOT! That's pretty much it! 05-08-12

Love this product! I am very please with this purchase since using the WEN I have noticed a huge change in my hair. Prior to using WEN I would lose handfuls of hair in the shower as well as during blow drying it is now down to a minimum (which makes me happy) I am looking forward to using this after a hair color to see if it makes a difference in the length between colors. I will be ordering more of this... 05-22-13

Not Great I have been using Wen {fig} for 2 years. I love gardenia so thought I would give it a try. My hair did not feel the same, it was dry, not silkey smooth like I am use to. Won't order again. It did smell really good though! 05-22-13

Leaves my hair silky / hydrated The Gardenia was a nice floral scent, I loved the Mango from last summer the best. Have used many of the other Wen Cleansers, I tend to use product like a conditioner, and love how it leaves my hair. You MUST rinse well. 05-21-13

Lovely, fresh scent The Gardenia green tea scent is wonderful!! It is light and clean, not cloyingly sweet like some Gardenia products. Just wonderful! 05-21-13

New favorite scent!! I'm a two year Wen user and would use nothing else!! I usually stick to the regular scents, but decided to try the spring seasonal scent and LOVED it! My hair always feels wonderful with any Wen product but the scent stayed in my hair all day long! 05-21-13

Wouldn't get this one again... I have tried the Wen Winter Vanilla Mint & liked it so well that I thought I would try this fragrance, too. Well, firstly, I couldn't smell the gardenia that everyone is raving about (in fact, I smelled nothing at all), and, secondly, this one seemed to weigh my fine hair down more (for some reason). I couldn't send it back, because my husband destroyed the box with the receipt and I don't have a printer to print out another. So, I kept it and tolerated it. Sorry, it sounded so nice. Just wasn't one for me. 05-18-13

gardenia memories Heard Chaz talk about his Mom and gardenias;it was very touching. My sister loved gardenias, so I understand the sentiment. Spring Gardenia Green Tea is lovely. Thank you. AND...the lilacs just bloomed and they remind me of my Mom.... sooooo I am awaiting next year's lilac scent, 05-16-13

Not for me or my kind of hair I'm finding that different wen products work better with my hair type and also the water type in my neighborhood ( hard or soft water). If I use wen at the gym, which has hard water, I get vastly different results than when I use it at home,where the water is soft. Must be the sulfate- free additives in wen. Since this is tea tree oil-based, this wen weighed my hair down, it took all the curl out of my naturally curly and fine hair, and I just look and feel like a wet poodle. Overall, wen is great, once you find the right one for your hair. The best wen for my hair ( fine curly hair) is by far the 613 and the winter vanilla mint, which I buy in multiple bottles! Unfortunately, this spring scent is going back. It has a nice scent, but it's not for me. 05-14-13
