So disappointed
I should have listened to the reviews. Many spoke of the scratches. When I received the bag it had a couple of scratches. Can't see spending $398 for a bag that scratches that easy. I'd like to order the same style in the dillen leather, but more colors, bright colors, need to be offered. Love the style and size. The raspberry was also disappointing. The color isn't accurate. It looked more of a light red, pinkish tint. Don't really know how to describe it. Just disappointed all around.

Not Exaggerating
Every single day I carry my orange satchel, I receive compliments. The most interesting comment: in church, when the reverend and his wife walked down the aisle at the end of church service, his wife pointed to my bag and said, "I love that purse!" At the church doors, she nudged the reverend and pointed at my purse again (I think she told him she wanted my bag). The price is well worth the absolute beauty and quality of this bag. Get it now!

Not completely as advertised
I have many Dooney's - some good, some; well not. I have this bag in navy and I love the colour as it is a true navy. I sent a different style Florentine bag back due to mismatched leather and scratches, but the leather on this navy back is not the same. It is definitely pebbled and not as supple. The handles could stand to be a couple of inches longer since it doesn't stay on my shoulder very well. I love the size and shape, hate that 'more expensive' nylon key leash. No one is ever going to convince me that leather costs less than nylon, but then Dooney has the nerve to sell Nylon Dooney bags for hundreds of dollars.

Orangetastic
I am new to Dooney in terms of purchasing the product. This is my third bag in one year and I have to say that the Florentine Collection is just fabulous. Yes the leather may scratch easy, however to me that is one of the qualities of fine leather. I like bags that exude richness and sophistication and this bag screams just that. It is very structured and keeps it shape and I really love the overall shape and design of this satchel. I love purses, so this bag won't be carried everyday but it will definitely be my go to bag for the spring and summer. I will be purchasing the black or brown for the fall and winter.

Too stiff
I just received this bag ,beautiful bag and beautiful color I got the orange
the problem is the bag is to hard its the only way I can describe it ,
I want to keep this bag but it just looks so hard and hard leather to me Looks
cheap and this is no cheap bag . So I am sadly returning it and replacing it
with A B.makowsky bag I found on Qvc on-line in orange of course and everyone
knows how Bruce's bag feel to the touch.So if you don't mind carrying a stiff bag
this one is for you.

this is the second Florentine leather bag I have purchased, and I am so happy with this line! I ordered the rasberry color, and at first, I was taken aback with the saturation of color. I sat it on my dressing room chair and looked at it for three days. I do not wear strong color, but with so many neutrals in my wardrobe, I wanted a pop of color.
After the three days, I am in love. This color brings life to all my conservative outfits. I adore this color, and it is so complimentary to my coloring. I could not be more pleased. Give the brighter colors a chance as I did, you will be so glad you did.

Disappointed in Quality
I've become a revived Dooney fan in the last couple of years,...used to carry Dooney years ago and then started carrying all Michael Kors. Dooney has had some really beautiful bags in recent years and the quality is generally excellent, which has caused me to purchase almost as many Dooney as Kors. However, I find this particular bag to be a lesser quality than others I have purchased. The color on the leather is not a deep coloration,...it seems that the yellow dye has been sparcely put on the leather. It just doesn't look like a rich quality bag,...ESPECIALLY for the price of over $400 with shipping and tax. It simply looks like a much cheaper purse! I'm really disappointed as I was so excited to receive it.

Beautiful Bag - BUT
I get so many compliments on this bag, however I am dissapointed for two reasons:
1) strap broke after two months (currently returning to QVC)
2) the slightest touch produces a scratch on the bag
It's less than 90 days old, but looks like I've had it for years.

Disappointed
I have had this purse for about 5 months now and the handle just broke by the ring. Does anyone know if Dooney has a warranty of any sort since I can't send it back to the Q? So very very disappointed when you pay this price for something and it breaks.
