Disappointed With Bday Purchase
I ordered this purse because I fell in love with it in the ocean blue and thought this would be a great bday treat for myself. Sadly, after only one month of using the bag the front corners of the purse have worn and there is what appears to be white cotton showing! This is only my second dooney and this makes me very leary of purchasing another as a $250+ LEATHER purse should not have this kind of wear in one month.

Worst Dooney ever
I am addicted to Dooneys, but this purse did not wear as if it were leather. After the first few times I carried it, it was scuffed and torn at the corners, with white cotton knit showing through. I am very disappointed!

Sadly it's damaged
I ordered this bag in Ocean, and I LOVE the color. It's just about big enough for me (and the color would have made it worth keeping). However, there's a small but deep scratch right front and center. Now, if it were on the bottom, or maybe on the back, I'd probably live with it since it's sold out. But in front like that? Back it goes.
My hunt for a darker blue patent bag continues.

Hot handbag!
I've had this bag (in black) for about 3 months and I love it! The relatively wide single strap makes it easy to carry on my shoulder, and the drop length gives my arm plenty of room yet still keeps the bag snug--not too low and not too high under my arm. The two exterior pockets are perfect for keeping my phone, keys and other items that I need to be easily accessible when I'm out and about. The interior has four more useful pockets--something that was lacking in my larger LV bags! Contrary to some of the other reviewers, I think the patent leather looks rich, sleek and modern; not cheap. My only minor complaint is that sometimes I wish the mouth of the bag was just a tad wider so it would be a little easier to get to the contents...but I keep too much stuff in my bag anyway!

Gorgeous Purse
I just got this purse in the Ocean Blue and it is gorgeous! I've been looking for a blue patent leather purse for a year now and couldn't pass up this one. I do wish it was a little bit bigger (I carry several pairs of glasses) but all in all its just beautiful. Fits over your shoulder perfectly and looks very sophisticated! A summer must have!

Beautiful Patent Bag!
I have this bag in two colors and then have this patent "fabrication" in at least three other Dooney bags. I LOVE the patent. This is NOT the same fabrication as the Dooney Venus line. It is true patent leather. I have a different opinion than the reviewer who thought the bag looked cheap. The exterior is a rich, sleek patent. There is an adequate drop from the strap, god interior organization and two exterior zip pockets. Bag is medium sized - practical for every day use and at least in my mind. not heavy. Really love the fabrication so give it a try - I don't think you would be disappointed.

My Third Dooney Bag!
I recently purchased this bag in the black color. I am very pleased with everything about this purse! The organization is perfect, and well as the fit on my shoulder, and the quality of the patent leather!

Back in the box it goes....
Was so excited to receive this bag and was oh so sad once out of the box. The bag is not the same color all over... It almost has a tie dye look to it. (?) Also, not a fan of all the bright gold hardware....the combination of the cheap looking patent and the gold hardware makes the bag look like it came from a discount store. So sad, back in the box to go back the same day I received. Ordered 2 Dooneys in 2 weeks and both sent back....what is going on Dooney & Bourke? :(

Not Sure
I ordered the handbag in Fuschia. It is a pretty color. But I am disappointed in the look of the patent. It looks like vinyl. Dooney & Bourke could have made it look more high end. It is shiny; does not look like good patent leather. As I stated, it looks like vinyl. Not sure about keeping it.
