so disappointed, I bought petite and it still drags by inches, and I'm 5 2in.

Order petite unless your over 5'7
I'm 5'5 and the petite is the perfect length. I'm a size 4-6, so the small size was perfect. I love this skirt. Perfect lining, too. I have the blue and love it. Go for it!

TOO LONG
I RECEIVED THIS SKIRT TODAY AND WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THE LENGTH. I AM 5'7"-NOT THAT SHORT, BUT EVEN THE PETITE WAS TOO LONG, ALMOST TO THE FLOOR. I HAVE RETURNED SEVERAL SKIRTS BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO LONG. I DID LIKE THE PRINT AND THE OTHERS I HAVE RETURNED. WHY CAN' T THEY BE MADE SHORTER?

GREAT COLORS
I am 5'4" & looked at the skirt length in the description before ordering & ordered the 36" petite because I know this is a perfect length for me. It hits at my ankles which is where I wanted it. I am 180 lbs & the size Large fit me perfect with plenty of room. I am very happy with my purchase & think it will be a great addition to my summer wardrobe. For those that are worried about length, just read the description & measure yourself for the length you want. I always do this as I like a longer skirt but not on the floor. I ordered the blue & love the variation of colors.

Not Flattering
This is a pretty skirt and I followed the advice of other reviewers who said to get the petite length if you did not want it dragging the floor. (SP). I have to say though unless you have an absolutely FLAT stomach this is not a flattering look by any means. There is too much puckering or something at the top which added many extra pounds to my body. It went right back.

Beautiful with issues
I ordered both colors and both are beautiful...however there are some serious issues with the length. I am 5'5" and this petite is way too long. I will have to shorten by probably three inches or wear extremely high heels in order to not walk on the skirts when I walk....I will go to the effort to hem at a better length because the skirts are so pretty but petites are not 5'8" or taller......if not for the problem with length it would get a higher rating....

Very happy with this skirt
I am 5'4" and this skirt comes down to my ankles. I purchased the petite size large. Normally I would wear a size extra large, but I know that this style skirt is very full and I usually will size down. I still had enough room with the lining that I am so glad this skirt had. I don't wear slips, but this definitely needs a lining. I bought the brown color and am now debating on purchasing the blue as well. With the variations in shading of both the browns and purples, I was able to find tops in my closet that coordinate. The only reason I gave it only 4 stars was because of the price. I really think this skirt is overpriced, but kept it because I love the colors.

Beautiful print, beautiful skirt, not for me
I really wanted to like this and the fabric is really a beautiful print and texture! But it is too big around the middle and very, very long. Not at all flattering on my middle aged middle!

Gorgeous and Comfortable
This skirt has a beautiful print and is light and airy. Perfect summer skirt - looks great and super easy to wear. It does run a little large, but I would stay true to size unless you are barely in the size or between sizes, then order down. It is, however, super long. I'm 5'4" (sz. med) and normally do not wear a petite. I noticed how long the regular was on the models so I ordered the petite and was very happy I did. If I wanted to wear flats I would probably have the skirt hemmed to keep it off the floor. I suspect that even women several inches taller than me would be very happy in the petite. Aside from the length, it is a perfect skirt. You won't be disappointed.

Not Petite Length
I'm 5'4.5". I wear a Large Denim & Co. pant. I ordered this in an XL Petite because sizing up seemed the way to go. It was a good fit, EXCEPT for the 'petite' part. It dragged on the floor while barefoot. Wearing a sandal or heel would not have helped. From the other reviews on the regular size, I'd say Motto has a problem understanding what petite means. I expected it to be mid-calf. The skirt style, colors, and look is absolutely fabulous!! I don't want to spend even more money to have the skirt and slip hemmed. It is going back today.

rcvd the blue petite
I opened my package early this morning that arrived last night. I ordered PS in the blue and I'll tell you, this fabric is just lovely! Has a really soft hand to it. I held this skirt up to me and I'm reallygld I ordered the petite b/c it comes to just above my ankles, good length for me. I can always roll it up at the waist when I want to wear it a bit shorter too.
THe blue is lovely, like muted water colors. Can't wait to wear it!
I do recommend this skirt - probably either color would be great - I know the blue is! Enjoy this skirt if you got it!

Very nice skirt
I received this skirt today. Its very well made and pretty. I am 5' 4 1/2 and 120 lbs. I ordered the xxs petite. It does run long and always size down in Motto. No way would this fit a petite woman. I wish it were a little bit shorter. Im still undecided need to try on with flat sandals to see how the length is.Overall its a very pretty print and nicely made.
