Denim & Co. Gauze Tiered Skirt with Eyelet Trim
I just started wearing skirts again. For years skirts made me look heavy. Not so with
this one! Because it is straight down to the knee area and then flares out I don't look
heavy. Material is cool too. I have the white & aqua in size med. I am 5'3" 155 lbs.
I purchased this skirt in the fern green earlier this spring but have not worn it till now. I have several tops that go with it. It is so cool and comfortable. My husband even complimented me. A winner for sure.
SUPER CUTE....but too long!
I LOVE this skirt! I ordered my regular size in the warm coral. The color is beautiful and it fit perfectly in the waist and hips. Unfortunately, I am only 5' 2" and the skirt is just too long for me. I was so disappointed to have to send it back. This would have been perfect in a Petite.
Lovely Gauze skirts
I am a 5'4' plus size lady and these skirts are just right for me. I find them not to be to long at all a great maxi shirt for us short ladies, comes down to my ankles, but I can roll up waistband and wear it shorter. I ordered the New Stone and Fern Green, I did size up from a XL to a 1X and they are just right, lots of room in hips and waist is just right. So glad I did size up I got some skirts last year from Denim and Co. and when you sit down the hips are very tight fitting. So glad I sized up on these, they fit just right no tight hips or waist when I sit down. Love the weight of the material and you don't have to wear a slip, one is sewn into it. They are very dressy with the ruffle on the bottom. I love everything about them and you will too.
Thrilled with this purchase
I have tried several gauze tiered skirts on QVC for the summer but they have all been too long. I am 5'5" but apparently have short bottom half. I love the look of these skirts for summer and decided to try this one based on the host explaining that these were not maxi skirts per se, but would be on a shorter person. I checked the new size chart on line and order this in the black and the blue. Am thrilled with them. They are the perfect length for me, will not be tripping over the hem and they are short enough to show off my pretty Clark's sandals I also got this year. Am happy that they are lined so I don't have to find a slip to wear with it. The lining may not be the greatest material but it is serviceable and based on the price, a very nice addition. Will definitely be ordering another. Hope QVC keeps these for next year also, will add more colors.
Flattering first purchase
This was my first D&Co. purchase, and I ordered according to the size chart. The skirt was the slightest bit snug around the waist, but the elastic helps (as will losing a couple of pounds). Overall I am pleased with the skirt. The jade is a rich, vibrant hue that's appropriate for spring and summer. I will pair it with neutral tops. I appreciate the fact that the skirt is lined--something that wasn't clear in the item description. Also, it's a nice length. Usually long skirts are so long I'm practically tripping over them, despite being an average height (5'6"). This skirt hit a few inches above the ankles. Finally, I appreciate that the silhouette of this skirt is more straight. It's figure flattering and I'm not getting lost in excess fabric. Thank you D&Co.!
I Am Quite Happy With This Purchase, It I A Comfortable Skirt. Glad I Purchased it.
I really like this skirt. I like the material; and, the way it fits. Excellent purchase with excellent value. This is a skirt that will get lots of use.
Love the material and the fit.
I ordered this skirt in X-Small in navy which is my usual QVC size. It fits nicely and I like the style and light weight of material. The lining is a plus which helps to give the skirt shape. I would recommend this skirt to other ladies that want a light weight skirt for the summer months. There are so many things that the skirt can be worn with, sandals, flats and tank tops to name just a few.
a hit for D&Co
finally something from D&CO I love!
I don't order from this line often b/c its usually too big or too frumpy looking but I LOVE this skirt.....got it in white
no see thru
PERFECT fit...very pretty and girly
I"m 5'4 130 lbs and got xxs
can wear it higher for a shorter look or wear lower for a maxi skirt look
would order more
I should have read the reviews. I sized up to a 2x and it was so tight in the hip area. I can't believe it.
Size up - cheap lining!
What a pretty skirt - in theory! The bright navy really is a lovely shade, just slightly deeper than a royal blue, more of a deep sapphire. However, the cheap and skimpy lining seems to be made a size smaller. I'm glad I sized up. Not sure if the skirt is worth keeping because of the lining. That's what happens when clothing isn't made in the US.
