George Simonton Short Sleeve Tiered Dress with Seam Detail
This was my first George Simonton purchase and I was just thrilled with it. I would love to have more color options in this garment. This dress is simply beautiful and fits true to size. This dress is easy to wear. It looks great by itself or with a cute jacket layered over it. I will be back for more George Simonton!
Dress for all occasions
I ordered this dress in the blue and it is just beautiful.
I always loved George Simonton's shows and today I received my
first dress.....it is so beautiful and flattering.
I will be back for more colors.
Thank you George and QVC.
Just got this dress in the Navy. Love it! It is so comfortable and very flattering on. You can dress it up or wear it to work with boots. I would definitely recommend it. I got it in the Medium and I usually wear a 10-12 but the fit is good. Not too tight and not too loose.
Best Dress Ever
Great fit, great length, no wrinkle. I wish it came in more colors. I'd buy them all.
Fun and Spicy dress!
Beautiful color reminds me of the southwest. Sleeve length is great for all of us that don't like to show our arms. Fit is good. Fabric does show your buldges around the middle but with a wide belt or scarf tied around the waist it camaflouges the extra weight there. Hangs beautifully and so fun to wear!
I ordered this dress in red.
It's beaitiful and my husband loves it. Although the color is discribed as red, I think it's a orange-red...Gorgeous!!! I loved it so much that I bought it in the blue, too.
Lots of compliments, lots of heads turning. Can be worn for several different occasions. Just change it up with accessories and shoes and your RTG, ready to go in minutes. Definitely a compliment to your wardrobe.
My wardrobe tends to be classic and basic, to which I add a little "pizzaz". I just enjoyed wearing this dress to a wedding with a bold gold necklace and gold earrings. It can be dressed "up" or "down" to suit the occasion. Here in Southern California, it can be worn all year (except perhaps for really hot summer days.) By checking previous reviews and with customer service, I found that I needed a smaller size for this item. I ordered XL rather than my usual 1X, and it fits perfectly. Also the color, which is sort of dark coral or orangey-brown-red, is very flattering to me. I like the tiers, too. The only minor problem was making sure the rather wide neckline didn't reveal what was underneath. I washed the dress before I wore it on "delicate" setting and it laundered beautifully. I look forward to trying different accessories with this versatile style.
I love this style of dress and was happy to see one with longer length in sleeves. I like the fabric and the color of the red is a nice rust shade. I'm 5'8" and a plus size according to the dress measurements I ordered a large. QVC is to only place where I wear a large. The fit was good, but the length needed to either be an inch shorter or 2 inches longer to work. I did not like the seaming on the bust, and the fit under the arms was just a little to big thus causing gathering around the under arm of the dress. To bad I really wanted this dress.
Ordered this dress in blue. Love the color. I'm 5'2 & length is mid calf which I was hoping. Wish there were more colors.
Ladies this is so flattering on the body, makes you feel like dancing! Very feminine, can be dressed up or dressed down. I did size down to small, glad I did because it is just PURRRRfect! I was hoping that a Navy size small would pop back in and it did this morning and of course I hurried and snatched it up! The red is GORGEOUS! It's more like a lite burnt orangey red, very summery and sexy.....don't be afraid to try that color it is so complimentary!!
This dress is OK. It has its charms, but needs something. On its own it is kind of dowdy as one reviewer said. I agree that one should size down. I managed to make it work with a structured semi-fitted light-weight jacket and a belt (waist is at a strange place - not flattering if one has hips). Other suggestions: perhaps a scarf, or bold necklace.... In short, it is a nice layering piece where the focus would be the accessories. Also, I wonder if a more structured fabric for the dress would have made a difference to the look? It might have been more attractive to most figure types?
Navy is great, "Red" not so much.
I received this dress in the navy and loved it so much I went back for the red. There is no way this color should be called red. Pumpkin, spice, rust or just plain orange would be more accurate. I just can't wear this color so it goes back. But I would love it in a true red.
