Smells like the real thing When I was in Guatemala, I spent so much time smelling the jasmine. This is right on. It is not super sweet, like the lower quality scents. It is fresh and green like the real jasmine. The ginger is fresh smelling too. It isn't as strong as freshly cut ginger, but has more of a light ginger (fresh ginger) scent. 2 of my favorites in her line, because of the freshness. 05-16-13

Like the Jasmine, LOVE the Ginger! First, let me say that I love Josie Maran's Whipped Body Butter. I am 62 and it is all that I use on my body anymore. I absolutely love the Ginger scented body butter. It is natural, warm, and yummy. I've received many compliments on the scent. It is light but lingers for a couple of hours. I love all of Josie's products but this is my favorite. 05-11-13

P U I was very excited about getting this duo, but when I opened the jar and smelled them, boy do they stink! Yes both have a scent that I cannot describe. I got the RENEWED and love it, but these two? Sorry Josie, I have to return them. 05-01-13

Terrible skunky scents First, let me say that I love how these body butters feel (great product), but unfortunately the scents are so off-putting that I will need to send them back. I put the ginger on and had the wash it off immediately and I LIKE the smell of ginger. Also, I have had the argan body oil in jasmine and LOVED the scent, but for some reason, it smells different in the body butter - it is not the same scent. I'm sorry to say it, but it smells almost like flowers mixed with skunk. It's not just that these are overpowering scents or that I don't like them, but they actually are offensive scents. I'm really sorry to say this, Josie, because I like the feel of the product. I've just never run across such off-putting scents in my life. 04-05-13

Love, Love, Love It! This body butter is so creamy and wonderful I use it everyday. I LOVE the Jasmine fragrance and hope that you don't ever replace it. My skin drinks up this argan butter and feels so soft and looks so beautiful. Thank you so much, Josie! 03-30-13

ILove this product but.... I bought the duo of this body butter but both of the jars were half full. I paid alot of money (anyway for me) and only got half jars what a waste 03-21-13

please come up with a good scent I love the Josie Maran whipped argon oil. So much in fact that I gave it to the teachers in my son's 3rd grade class as Christmas gifts. I absolutely love the Apricot vanilla scented one and that was the scent I chose for the teachers gifts. However, the jasmine and ginger smell quite bad and I will not purchase them again. I have bought the vanilla fig also and that one smells like Bazooka bubble gum. Not a scent I choose to walk around smelling like. Please Josie rethink some of these fragrances. Just as a suggestion, how about using the rose scent from the argon oil that you have in your line. It smells so feminine and has such a true rose scent, yet not overwhelming. Also, which girl doesn't like lavender or gardenia. Not trying to be critical but from reading the other reviews I think there is a good amount of us who love this product but not the scents offered. I would not recommend this particular product as a gift because of the scent and am only giving it 3 stars for the same reason. However if it smelled better it would get a 5 because the quality of the cream is fabulous. 03-07-13

Poor scent I too tried these after falling in love with the Vanilla Fig and was very dissapointed with the scents.......although, I love Jasmine and Ginger. I have tried almost everything and just love it all.......until these. That said, I will continue to buy Josie Maran products, all in all, they are the best! This still feels good on my skin, I just don't like the scent. 02-23-13

Very poor scents Josie, you really need to bring out vanilla fig of which I would buy by the gallon! Also your vanilla fig handcreme is superb! I have never had a better handcreme. The ginger and jasmine scents are TOO strong. SORRY, Josie.......but your vanilla fig scent is a real winner and compliments a great product. 02-14-13
