philosophy divine flawless foundation broad-spectrum uva/uvb spf 50
I love it
I have very dry skin, I found out if I use a little of my Hope in a jar first, it works better for me!
I love this cc cream!
Recently I decided to search for the perfect cc cream with an SPF of 50. Since I spend time and money fighting the signs of aging, it hit me that one of the best things I could do is protect my skin from sun damage in the first place. I ordered this cc cream along with Kate Somerville's IllumiKate. I gave them both a good test. In my opinion Philosophy cc cream is better. ( This surprised me since this cream is a little less expensive.) I'm 69 years old with good skin. You only need to use a little. It is not orange and the light to medium shade blends perfectly into my skin and minimizes the few wrinkles I do have. It adds a healthy glow to my skin and looks completely natural. I don't even look like I'm wearing makeup! I love knowing that my skin is being protected and treated at the same time. I can't tell you how happy I am with this cc cream and I hope QVC continues selling it.
I was pleasantly surprised, wasn't sure what to expect but I am loving it. The coverage is very good and it doesn't take much product. I have to say I like it better than IT and Mally Age Defender. I do love Mally's Ultimate Liquid. Hope they keep making this.
I just ordered my 3rd tube, so I've been using this for awhile. A tube lasts a good long time, so the value is great. Since I've been using this, my skin looks better AFTER I remove my makeup, too! The foundation provides good, buildable coverage along with spf and skin benefits. I'm 58 and it doesn't settle in my fine lines or emphasize my pores. The light/medium is perfect for my fair skin...it looks REALLY light when 1st applied, but adjusts beautifully and looks very natural. I'm a fair in Laura Geller Balance n Brighten just for reference.
The Best Ever!
Love this, it really is flawless and with spf of 50! A real nice feeling foundation, not greasy or messy..Has a nice feeling on the skin colotsare spot onTo.
My skin looks flawless and an SPF of 50! I would highly recommend this foundation....
I agree 100% with the review from "tendercolors on 5/10/13. When I read her review I ordered it anyway and didn't like it. Please please bring back the product in the DISC that she mentioned. I love that formulation. It would be perfect to bring it back with that same formulation + SPF50.
I Love the SPF/ Foundation Combination
I love how this contains a good percentage of mineral sunblock, not that nasty chemical sunscreen that irritates and stings your eyes. I can feel the peptides firm and plump my skin as soon as I put it on. This would be great for mature skin. I love how it has antioxidants, peptides, SPF, and coverage. The coverage is high to medium, about the same amount of coverage as Bare Minerals. it does not settle into lines. The only cons are that at is not that illuminating (although this is probably a good thing for most people), it is hard to apply, it can show pores, and makes your face shine. Apply Mally's foundation primer and your pores disappear. Use salicylic acid face products and Mally's pore less face defender, and both of those problems are solved.
Light and Smooth
I am so pleased with this foundation. It is light and airy. You must only use a small amount in your hand and dot it on the four areas of your face and then smooth out. A little bit goes a long way. Does not feel heavy and in fact it makes my face feel like its going through a skin treatment all day. The color looks great and no lines.
I have used Bare Minerals for years and still do love it but I was looking for something exactly like this. This gives my skin a beautiful glow, smooth and A TRUE uva/uvb spf 50. What more can a girl ask for. I bought the medium. I went to Ulta to pick up a tube because it was almost gone and they told me that Philosoply does not make foundation. Little do they know! I only go there in an emergency.
Thank you QVC!
I've been a big fan of philosophy's body washes, was in the market for a bb cream or foundation with a high spf, and decided to give this one a try. The light-to-medium shade is a perfect match for my fair skin, goes on very smoothly, and provides moderate coverage. Since I'm new to philosophy's makeup, I didn't have any expectations that it would feel or behave a certain way. It does contain 10% titanium dioxide and 10% zinc oxide to provide the spf 50, so it initially appears a little white when you first apply it. After a minute or two it settles into your skin and gives nice even coverage. I wore it all day to an outdoor event, and did not burn or have any redness when I removed it that evening. At 56, I'm thrilled to add this to my anti-aging toolkit.
Miss the previous Philosophy liquid foundation
While it is great to use just a pea size amount and the coverage is great, the color is very light for the medium I ordered. I thought it went on chalky, it takes time for the moisturizing to be felt/seen and then it gets a little greasy. I do like the SPF 50, so I will not return it but save it for when I will be out doors a lot.
