philosophy divine flawless foundation broad-spectrum uva/uvb spf 50
disappointed philosophy girl
I am truly a philosophy girl, love, love, love all products except "Devine Illumination". I think the coverage is terrible and you have to use far to much to cover. I have this product a while and should have sent it back. Sorry Philosophy, still a big fan.
I bought this loving the fact it has zinc oxide and an spf 50. I have a true Olive complexion and light/medium never works for me so I ordered Tan thinking it was a no-brainer. I'm telling you this looks ORANGE on my skin. I put it away in the envelope immediately for return. I feel bad because I like lots of Philosophy products, but not this :-(.
This product offers great coverage. I have a bit of rosacea and this does a great job evening my skin tone without looking like I am wearing a bunch of make up. LOVE IT!!!
Get It- I'm 47 And They Think I'm 20 Something!!
First of all It was an impulse buy! I tried it and loved it!
I start with philosophy cleanser- purity made simple, second step - apply when hope is not enough for the face
Then I apply flawless foundation, and apply Laura geller highlight and low light around the eyes, cheeks and chin,
All over powder to set! Now I apply eye rimz liner/ shadow from Laura , a little blush from Laura, mascara and some gloss. Voila!! Flawless to the tenth power! Everyone thinks I'm 20 something ! Truth I'm 47!!
I love this foundation for a number of reasons (and I've tried a million of them!). The consistency is perfect...a little goes a long way, and you can build it if you want more coverage, or just use a little if you're looking for that "no make-up" look, but you want to reduce some redness. It isn't shiny, but the zinc really does "illuminate" your skin, and it doesn't settle into pores. It only takes a few seconds to apply. If I'm going out for the evening and want to be really made up, I'll put Bare Escentuals minerals on top, just for that finished look, but this is most definitely an every-day foundation, and it's hard to beat the SPF of 50, too. I have very sensitive skin, so zinc is the best for that and I've had no issues. Just ordered two more tubes!
Now that I have your attention, I wanted to let you know that this foundation covers a surgical mark on my cheek! Eventually the scar will fade away, but I'm thrilled not look like scarface! ;)
not a good buy
I am sorry I ordered this I have ordered other Philosophy products but this is very thick and feels and looks really bad ,
Not for me.
I use a lot of Philosophy products, but this one is not for me. It is too thick and the tan color is too dark. Sorry, but I have to send this one back.
I HAVE BEEN USING THIS FOR A COUPLE MONTHS NOW. I APPLY IT WITH A SPONGE. NO PROBLEMS THERE. MY ONLY BIG PROBLEM IS IT DOESN'T STAY ON FOR A LONG ENOUGH TIME.
I WORK 12 HR SHIFTS AND I AM ON THE PHONE ALOT, AND NOTICE THAT, IT DIMINISHES WITHIN A FEW HOURS. ALTHOUGH I DO LOVE THE SPF50.. I TRULY DON'T BELIEVE IT IS WORTH IT FOR A PRODUCT TO STAY ON A FEW HRS...THEN REAPPLYING THROUGHOUT THE DAY..GETS EXPENSIVE. I DON'T THINK I WILL BE REORDERING IT. I NEED A PRODUCT THAT STAYS ON LONGER.
Not for me!!
This makeup is too thick and heavy for me and gives my skin a "yellow" appearance. I'm going back to the "Blur" product that I was using. Unfortunately, I'll be returning the Philosophy.
Goes on very thick
This makeup on application feels very thick. Think diaper rash cream for babies. I do like the color match (I got light to medium), and I really like the sun protection, but I'm trying to get over the consistency. Otherwise, make sure you remember to set with a powder. On my skin it starts to shine a few hours later if I don't.
Not so great...
This product was disappointing. It is difficult to apply, as it dries within moments of starting to smooth it onto my skin, and creating a "dragging" effect when I try to blend it.
