About Layers by Lizden
A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Beth Terrell co-founded Lizden Industries with her partner and husband, Dennis Newman, in 1987. An award-winning designer with more than 35 years of experience, Beth has designed and developed major private-label programs in the U.S. for career, active, and intimate apparel, plus products for fine, specialty, and department stores in Europe.
As a modern working woman and mother, Beth understands the style needs of her customers and focuses on fashion-right products with an eye toward easy care. Always at the forefront of innovative fabrics and fabric-treatment technologies, Lizden offers practical, easy-care wardrobe solutions that never sacrifice style.
Lizden Industries introduced washable-suede technology to QVC customers in 1999 with the Jessica Holbrook washable-suede fully lined jacket that was a long running customer favorite and set the standard for performance fabrics. Members of the QVC family for 20 years, Beth and Lizden continue to delight customers with fashion accessories that enable them to update their wardrobes with the key trend pieces of the season.
Always raising the bar for fine fashion accessories at QVC, Beth introduced Layers by Lizden in Fall 2010. Marvelush, a highly-spun acrylic yarn with a cloud-like loft, has become the cornerstone of Layers by Lizden. Instantly beloved by the customer and lauded as soft as cashmere, the Marvelush collection now includes the most current accessory designs such as infinity scarves, shrugs, and ponchos.
