Too short in back
Very pretty. I ordered both the slate and the copper in 2X. The vests are so short in back they hang like short capes. Returned them both.

I like it
I don't normally dress in embellished, Bob Mackie-style clothing (or QF either), so I ordered this with great hesitation, but in the end I like it. I got the purple, wore it with a teal turtleneck. It does give the appearance of a waist which is great. Haven't washed it yet, so cannot comment on that.

Unbelievably FLATTERING!! Just Gorgeous!!!!
Ladies, (and Gents!) I have had this Vest in the Slate color for over a year now and back for Another color!! TRULY one of Bob's Best!!-and That is sayin' A LOT since I own OVER 100 pieces from this Fabulous Designer!! This item will take Off at Least 10 -15 pounds...No Diet Required!! I wear the slate one with a crisp white blouse (tucked in), black jeans and black boots and EACH time I wear this....Wonderful Compliments! Whether you wear a mock or regular turtleneck, blouse, straight long tee, you will be able to show off your necklaces; and that is always a Good Thing!! The embroidery is Beautiful and Perfect!! It 'gently' cinches in your waist from the back and that leaves you with a Gorgeous Sillouhuette!! Easy Wash and Care...I wash Cold, Gentle Cycle, Inside Out, dryer on Low for just 10/15 minutes, hang finish to dry...PERFECT!! If it helps...I am a 38DD and the Fit is FABULOUS for me in a size Large. Please remember though to Click on Garment Measurements for Your Perfect Fit!! I am now ordering the Copper color!! Poor Fit
As usual with all qvc xxs it is way to big . I guess no more clothes for me. You really need to make clothes true to size .another waste of my shipping money!

Beautiful!!
I purchased this in the slate. It has turquoise in the
plume. It fits beautifully and is comfortable.
The embroidery is subtle, not overdone. A good purchase.

Ran Small For Me
Generally Bob Mackie's medium sizes fit me with room to spare, but it is not going to button at the bust. I will have to wear it open till I lose some inches around the bustline, which is no easy matter!
Anyway, this will motivate me to workout harder because I bought this vest in the slate, blue, and purple.
I always love Bob's Wearable Art!!!

Flattering Fit - True to Size
It was a difficult choice, but went with the "Slate" (Blue) - the colors of the embroidery are just gorgeous. Love the color blocking & the back smocking which yields such a chiseled waist definition; whether worn open or all buttoned-up ! Great layering piece & wardrobe extender. Looks great with my high-waisted pencil skirt & pumps for daytime or gone casual with jeans & a simple T. I'll wear this one often - so very, very versatile. My girlfriends call my Bob Mackie section of my closet "The Gallery" - they now shop QVC too!

Nailed it again!
I truly could not decide which color to purchase...finally chose the purple. Outstanding! Read reviews plus my personal experience with Bob Mackie purchases and went with regular size large. (38DD bust, some back flab!). For the record, let me state I was wearing a Bali minimizer bra those two times... fit perfectly, with NO PROBLEM BUTTONING. The vest itself is gorgeous, with vibrant colors in the feather that corresponds well with the rich-hued purple. I want another one ...can't decide on gray or burgundy. Interestingly enough, I'm not big on feathers/plumage ...it's just that the vest really is striking. Would be a great gift for besties, mothers, favorite aunts or anyone that likes to look good!

'Vest'ed interest..
I found the vest with the plume on the front very attractive, altho' somewhat fragile in the weight of the fabric. I ususally ck. on Bob Mackie's changing seasonal offerings and I do like the styling and design of this one. I am keeping it rather than return it altho' the fabric seems rather light and cheap. But it is rather attractive despite this. I suppose it is a way to keep rising costs from hurting sales. I have noticed QVC's prices rising on each item from those of the prior year $5 to $10 an item..as well as shpg. prices rising. Altho' it is unavoidable I suppose, I am cutting my purchases way back because of this.

This is a great vest that goes with so many items. The colors are vibrant. I got it in lavender and wish I had gotten it in other colors.

Good Vest
At the time I first ordered this vest I sized up. Much too big so I sent it back for my regular size. (It depends on how we are built whether one needs to size up or down ) And unfortunately the charts or another's experience doesn't work for everyone. Sent back my too large gray top for the purple one because I wanted more contrast. Love it.
