Liz Claiborne New York Crossover Maxi Skirt
Not for me
I wanted to try this style and really want to like it but its not for me. The fabric is like a thicker gauze and it seems to run a little big. Sorry to say for me it just didn't work so I'm going to send it back today.
CROSSOVER MAXI SKIRT
To begin with, you absolutely NEED to watch the video presentation of this maxi skirt. I DID & I was able to see a much MORE precise hip measurement so I could choose which size skirt would be best for me. I ordered the black in a size 10. This maxi JUST makes you look slender!!!! I'm 5'11 & I KNOW I'm on the tall side, however THIS skirt looks better on me then..... Linea by Louis Dell Olio 4 Tier crinkle boho maxi skirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a VERY simple maxi skirt yet sexy with the lift in the front. I'm also looking forward to wearing this skirt in the fall with boots. I say GO FOR IT you won't be disappointed NO matter what height you are!!!!
Size 6-8 is a great fit and my usual size. I love the length...at 5' I will be able to wear this barefoot :). The quality of the material is very nice...not too light...not too heavy. Love the pockets! Thank you for a lovely skirt!
I looked forward to receiving these skirts (ordered both colors) but was really disappointed. The fabric was a bit heavy for the summer, but I could have lived with that. The style looked strange when I tried one on -- the difference in length from the front to the back was too pronounced (in my opinion) and even though the skirt was cut full there was not enough drape to make it look graceful. The online picture looks different than the skirt looks on. I haven't had much luck with the Liz line and these skirts are going back.
I loved the skirt the moment I spotted it online. However, I did not like it once I received it. To me, it was not worth the money. It ran big, and the material made it look kind of cheap. I returned it.
I purchased this skirt in black and it is very versatile and beautiful. Can dress it up or down. One of my staples this summer
This skirt does NOT fit & runs very large. I did not see a noticeable rise in the hem in the front of the skirt & spun it around and around trying to find the front and imagine what sizing down at least two sizes would look like. It was a mess, arrived extremely wrinkled and sort of wadded up. It also smelled bad. I was looking forward to a summer skirt with this new and modern hemline & will try again if Isaac, LOGO, or Motto come out with one. No more Liz Claiborne for me. This is not the same as the Brand that I use to purchase at various dept stores, the quality is just not the same so be forewarned.
Did not like the material!
Liked the style but that's about it. The material (very cheap looking)was terrible. Back it goes!
Love the skirt
Bought the skirt in khaki. I absolutely love it, It's lined, easy to walk in, and resists wrinkling. Perfect for work or play. I'm going to get the black one now.
Love, love, love this skirt!
I was worried because I am 5'1" but this skirt is great! Very flattering, comfortable, and the hi/low hem makes it work for us pettite gals.
This is a great a-line skirt with fabric perfect for spring & summer. It is comfortable to wear and has a flattering fit. I think it runs a bit large and it is long. At 5'5" I had to wear heels because the back of the skirt was touching the floor. I do love it though and have it in both colors!
