Defect in buckle
Looked forward to receiving this sandal but was disappointed when I saw the metal (?) buckle on one sandal -- looked like it was corroding -- dark spots on the buckle. Expected better quality control for a sandal that costs over a hundred dollars. Hope the replacement is better as I really like the looks of the sandal otherwise would not recommend it.

Love my Orthaheels BUT THIS ONE NOT SO MUCH
The PLASTIC across the foot is extremely uncomfortable - and does not get any better. I can wear them with socks ....so these are for in the house only....too goofy lookiing to wear out in public. I don't even like to look this way in my own home. This one needs a different material across the foot.
I do not find the footbed too thin.

Great arch support, but..
Best arch support, stylish slide, but sole so thin you feel like your walking on cardboard, these had to go back. Please add more of a sole, some cushioning to the great arch support.

Very Comfortable
I need a shoe with extreme arch support and wanted to try an Orthaheel shoe. I liked this shoe because it was a slide . . . most Orthaheel shoes on the website seem to be thong sandals and I prefer a closed toe shoe or a slide. The arch support is great! I hope Orthaheel brings more styles that fit my tastes so I can try another pair.

Fit is nothing like my other orthaheel sandals!
I have high arches and love, love, love my other Orthaheels. These, however, are nothing like the others. The arch is not firm; rather the arch and the shoe sole is squishy soft compare to the others. I was so looking forward to getting a pair in leather, but these are beyond disappointing.

Save Your Money
this is the first time I have ever written a review and this product really needs one! Unless you can afford to buy every pair of shoes to wear constantly your feet will hurt. I am sending these back!! I even did what they said...wear for few hours and build upp to wearing constantly...the day after I wore them most of the day my feet and legs hurt really bad!!

LOVE! My new goto shoe!
I got these in camel. It is the perfect "nude" shoe color for me. Very attractive and versatile shoe. I wear with skirts, shorts, jeans, trousers, etc.
I have falling arches and other problems associated with that. I was told I needed to wear custom orthotics. I could only wear those with certain shoes. Now I can wear sandals again without foot pain! I now have 3 pair.
If you aren't use to orthotics, just wear them a few hours a day to get use to them. You would have to do that with custom orthotics as well. Oh and if you are a half size--size down, ie 8.5 order a 8.
I'm considering getting these in black as well.....

Great shoe
Just received this shoe and I think I will really like them. It seems to have a good arch support, and this is what I have to have. Quailty is very good.

Well made shoe
This is really a nice shoe. I have many problems with my feet and I am able to wear this shoe and be comfortable. Since it is made of real leather, think it will last forever. Thank you Dr. Weil and Orthaheel !!

good sandal
Good for wearing inside of your home,if you are not used to these as a full time shoe,they do relive the pain, i had in my heel,the other thing is the leather leaves a stain on your foot,maybe because they are new,i haven't worn them out yet,kinda not sure of the comfort as i have with my birks,but i will keep trying.

Jury still out
I just received these and I am surprised that the edges are not finished better, particularly at this price point. I have other Orthaheel shoes and LOVE them, but I'm not sure about these yet - if they are not going to improve in comfort very quickly, I may need to return because I cannot stand shoes that cut at the edges.

Arch of the shoe hurts my foot
Maybe these are supposed to be designed this way, but the arch of this shoe is high and it hurts to walk in.
