Orthaheel Talia Orthotic Thong Sandals w/Flower Detail
This style is comfortable and looks good. The fit is very good also.
Cute but they hurt!!
I like the coverage that the flower provides, it is a cute shoe. However, these will be going back. The area where the upper meets the sole is too tight on the left shoe. I can't even slide my foot all the way into the shoe.
This is my fourth shoe by orthaheel in two weeks! I love all the shoes but these are my favorite! So pretty and so comfortable!!!
Upper needs work
I love the footbed of this sandal. That arch feels soooo good. But as cute as the flower design is, there is definitely something amiss. Right where the toe strap is sewn to the leather upper is the cause for painful concern. The toe strap itself doesn't irritate. The underside of the leather is very smooth to the touch. But that seam just digs in and causes major irritation. I've had other thong sandals, from Birkie's to Rykas to the dollar store brand and none have bothered my feet as these have. I am keeping them only because I am stubborn and it is too late and because the soles of my feet feel so good in them I can get used to the tops...I hope. Another "live and learn" and I should have paid attention to the reviews!
They are sooo cute but I have never worn sandles that hurt my feet so much.
I really enjoy wearing this sandal. Got the brown but wish there were more colors available. No more sore feet - very comfortable
love this shoe!
I got these in brown and they are so cute and comfortable. Getting TSV today; can't get enough these Orthaheel's and what a great price!
Nice girly shoe. Cute.
I got the brown. You can feel the correction due to the arch support. That isn't a bad thing.
My feet and back were hurting so I bought two pairs of orthaheels and two pairs of birkies.
They seem to be helping. It is nice to be able to slip your feet into them and run out the door. I think the brown color is kind of classy since it is a darker, unique shad of brown.
Like and it works!!!!!
I love Orthaheel. They have truly helped my feet, knee, hip aches and problems. I am a believer!!!!! I can wear these all day and not hurt. You must follow the suggestion for break in period or your knees can hurt. If they do bother you give it a week of knee aches and it will pass. I would like to see this shoe in a natural cork or bamboo sole.
Love the look, Hate the fit
As most other reviewers, I really love the look of this sandal. It is so cute and feminine. I tried wearing them around my house so many times because I really wanted them to work! Sadly, I am forced to return them because the toe piece is too short and too thick. I get blisters between my toes and on top of my second toe. No amount of cuteness is worth this pain. If they would make the toe piece a little longer and thinner, they would be perfect and I would order in many colors. Please fix this issue Orthaheel!!
Like many of the other commenters, I really wanted to like this shoe, but there's no amount of breaking in that would make me keep it. The cloth toe-piece is too short causing the leather it is attached to to cut into my big and second toe when my toes raise up to take a step. I actually had red dents in my toes by the end of the day. I've also found that orthaheels have way too much arch support, even for me. I wear some pretty heavy duty orthodics when not wearing my birki's, and wearing these my foot muscle actually bulges out the side in the arch. This is the 2nd pair of orthaheels I've ordered and will be sending back. Two strikes and they are out...no matter how cute they are.
Love the Look, But Hate The Pain
I bought two pair of these sandals last year. I love the style but they hurt my feet so much I can't wear them and it's too late to return them. I have other Orthaheel sandals and love them. BUT, there is definitely something defective with the toe piece b/c it pinches my toe (on both feet) and causes blisters. I have tried wrapping band aids around the toe piece and my toes but nothing helps. I agree with one of the other reviewers, Orthaheel needs to make the toe piece longer...maybe then it won't hurt.
