Love it!
I got this bag in the Ink Snake and I love it!!! The color is beautiful, the leather super soft, and the hardware is substantial. I usually like bags that have more structure; can't stand my stuff to be all jumbled around. This bag, however, is slouchy but the feet on the bottom keep it from being a puddle. I just love it!

Not a good bag purchase
That purse was really neat....but the big thing is, is it doesn't have a zipper compartment in the middle of the bag. Everything that you would be putting in the bag would all be together. Trying to find something no way...the purses that I think are the best are the ones that have a center section with a zipper that you can have you check books, pen, lipstick etc. in that and keep your wallet etc in the un zippered part. I really wished he would make the same bag but with a zippered compartment in the middle of the bag. I would buy that purse in a minute if he did because that purse was really good looking on the outside. I use to buy purses like that before I had the zipper compartment but after having one of them I will not buy anything else and I buy a lot of purses.

LOVE THIS BAG!
I love that this bag is big enough to hold everything I like to carry. Love the tassel pull and front zipper pockets. The only thing wrong is that the front zippers keep unzipping. Other than that I am very satisfied with the bag.

Lovely, but not big enough
It is a lovely bag but not as big as I thought it would be from the description. I bought it in black to carry daily for work. It is lightweight, which is very important, but it is not big enough to fit a file folder comfortably. And my essentials barely fit without it looking over stuffed. I like the front zipper pockets a lot and love the tassel zipper pull, but not enough to keep the bag. I am also worried about the naked leather. I adore Bruce's pebble leather but this naked leather doesn't feel like it will take daily wear. I don't abuse my bags but for a work bag I can't worry about babying it.

not up to standards
I have quite a few of Bruce's bags that I have had for years..They are very nice and quality leather...Lately it seems his bags arent up to his old standards...The prices have increased and the quality seems to have gone done..Dont know if he has a new mfg. or what...The leather now just seems thinner...Maybe thats why his older bags were heavier...Have returned quite a few lately....

Quality is Terrible
When I opened the box, I thought the purse was so soft and the color was so pretty. I used it for one week and the tassles fell off. The zipper pull tassle fell off as well. i can't believe that I paid $236.00 and the purse lasted one week and I am shipping it back. So disappointed in the quality. What is happening to his bags.

New Favorite Bag
I purchased this bag in freesia and it is the prettiest purple bag I' ve ever seen. The leather is unbelievably soft. I absolutely love this bag

Soft as Butter
i am rather home bound and ordered at least 7 bags before deciding on one. I even ordered a Dooney and the Tig also. I THOUGHT I didn't want one with vertical zipper pockets. These are very handy. I love this bag---the pockets, the silver hardware, the color (it is a little lighter than on TV which I liked), the tassel pull, the good working zippers and most of it. As others have stated the cell phone pocket is too small. But the leather is just wonderful. I hope it holds up because that is a lot of money to spend on a bag and I got mine on "As Is". It doesn't stand up as well as other satchels and does puddle a little but I'm okay with it. It's my first real leather bag and I'm 87. It looks so good on one's arm or shoulder too. All I want to do is feel it. Thanks, Bruce.

dislappointed in structure and convenience
Interesting how posters either love or dislike this bag. I LIKE: soft feel of leather, color, outer size, lining fabric, feet, tassel. DO NOT LIKE: Won't stand up as shown on web site or t.v. Collapses into a heap. None of the pockets inside or out fit any of my "stuff." Back pocket useless. Too little. Can't fit my ;normal sized datebook and checkbooks in front zipper pockets or inside pockets, none are wide enough at the openings. Hard to get into inside pockets; they're too close together and stiff. What would fit into them? Really the only usable pocket is the top inside zipper pocket. Where are the central compartment and side pouches that Makowsky does so well? Handles will never hold up well: too soft and skimpy to wear as a shoulder bag.Not enough room at top zipper area to open the purse wide enough to find something that is near the bottom. I got the nutmeg and I don't think they ever mentioned "naked" leather. I purchased a tan naked leather bag in Spain at a fairly high price. It lasted maybe 6 or 8 months before it was spotted from general use and discolored handles from hand lotions, etc. I'm a Dooney/Coach/Makowsky fanatic and am really disappointed. I put things in it and may try it for a couple days, but I just don't think this style has been vetted enough. Quality dept. should try putting actual things inside purses to see if there is adequate room for all women's "equipment" without a struggle. I'm afraid for the price, this will be coming back to QVC. Sorry.

Beautiful Bag
I'm so glad I ordered this bag. It has great style, soft leather and perfect style. The size is perfect for everyday use and roomy enough for the extras I try to jam into my purse before leaving the house. I ordered it in black because I needed a fresh black bag. The only thing I would change is the cell phone pocket at the back of the bag. It's not deep enough to secure my I phone. I think I will use one of the front zippered pockets for that.

I love this purse but...
I love the way this purse looks, I love the feel. The color is absolutely gorgeous. The brushed silver hardware is beautiful. Its a splurge for sure. My only complaint and I have not actually left house with it yet is that the weight and leather could be more substantial. When you pay 300 bucks for a purse, you expect to have it a long time and you want it to have some substance to it. Its a bit flimsy if you will. I'm sitting on the fence to keep or send back. I'm not really a handbag aficionado but I know what I like when I see it. Am I wrong to think it should have more weight to it?
