Strap Not Attached
I have many Makowsky bags but very disappointed with how the strap is attached. It's only sewn to the lining and when the purse is being used it does not hang well. Can't believe the lining and strap are not attached to bag to keep it in place.

Chain a bad idea
As a previous review stated the chain is too heavy for the weight of the leather. The chain is really heavy duty, not feminine at all and when you sit the purse down the chain just kind of "takes over". I did like the denim look of the blue leather but it would have been so much better with a leather only strap. It went back.

Classic, Chic, Modern, Lovely...MUST HAVE!!!
I first saw this handbag on QVC in Feb 2012 and for 8 months I thought the purchase over and over. This month, I decided that it was certainly everything I was looking for: chain/strap length, size of bag--I'm 5'2 & 112 lbs--, compartments for organization, color, shape, and super soft leather. I treated myself and I couldn't not be happier I did. It's been amazing to use and I love that I can also make the bag and oversized clutch as well. So perfect and on trend! Oh and by the way, this was my FIRST purchase from B. Makowsky...after seeing his product in Nordstom as well, I must say, I'm in love!!

Not So Much
This is the first BMak bag that has really disappointed me. First off, the chain is heavier than the bag. This is because the leather is rather thin and light weight. Also, the magnetic snap does not feel secure enough for me. Things can still roll out if you drop the bag. It could have used a zipper to weight the bag and add security. Lastly, it has no structiure whatsoever, so if it's not full it doesn't hold it's shape. It's more of a leather pouch shaped like a rectangle, than a rectangular handbag. I would recommend a redo not using the thin vintage leather and add a zipper.

Happy With My Purchase!
I also have two of these bags, one in black and one in cobalt. I love mine!! They are a perfect size and lay against the body nicely. The shoulder straps are the PERFECT size! I wish all my many handbags had straps this length. I love the cobalt color, it is a perfect denim color. I would like to have two more of these. They have a big secure zip pocket on the front and the bag is not heavy at all. I love the chain straps. I wouldn't want them to be any brighter and with the leather being woven through is so pretty. I like that you can drop the strap down into the bag when going out to eat and the chain strap doesn't make alot of noise when you sit it down somewhere. I have several B. Mak bags in nutmeg already, so I would like to have this in the taupe and maybe the latte. Love the clearance price and the easy pay! I'm very happy with mine. :)

Great bag.
I have this bag in both the Latte and the Black, and it is lovely. Light, easy access, love the zipper pocket on the front. Very user friendly.

Disappointed
Love my BMak bags...but this one? Not so much! I love vintage leather products, jackets, purses etc, I really don't know what is vintage about this leather, it's got a strange texture, not what I would call vintage at all. Also, the chain has an old stained look to it, not a nice color of metal at all, I wouldn't have wanted a bright chain at all, but this one just was not good. I bought the Latte which I loved, but the purse itself even beyond the materials used is just too plain. Needless to say I returned it...

Not sure about this purse
The purse was cute..sorta dressy, sorta casual. Couldn't quite figure it out, I guess you could use it for both. I ordered the taupe color, the leather was nice, but it was just kinda plain. Size was nice, all my stuff fit nicely in it, and did not distort the shape of the purse. I sent it back because it was just a bit to plain for my taste, but I would recommend it for someone else. The best thing about it, was that it was not heavy. BM's purses tend to be a little heavy with all of the hardware.

Just what I have been looking for!
I loved this bag so much when I first saw it on air that I returned another similar bag & ordered this one right away, I just couldn't let it go! And now that I have it, I gotta say I was right! This purse is so cute, I absolutely adore the vintage leather, and the chain handle is my fav part of purse. Looks so cool and hip. Usually I carry big bags, but this size is perfect, I love it for times you want to look a little more rock and roll.
