Yes it's soft & supple. So soft it becomes a puddle wherever you set it down. Why did they bother putting metal feet on the bottom? This thing flops over & only the leather is wearing out. If you buy this bag because your i-pad fits into the middle zippered pocket, be ready for it to fall over every time you set it down. The front pocket needs a special technique to access it: the release button doesn't just "click open". You have to fiddle with it.
I would have returned this bag, but I splattered a soda on it when it fell off my shoulder.

soft and supple leather
I was lucky to get this in black at a Lunchtime special price...what more can i ask for?! Black is always the staple color for any bag since it doesn't matter what season you wear it so I really lucked out. I like the size of this tote as well as the organizational pockets. There's a center zip pocket for your wallet or small items. I can easily slip my MacBook Air in and out of the bag. The length of the strap is just right to carry as a tote or as a shoulder bag. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the front pocket...the lock is hard to unfasten so when I'm trying to get my cell phone or my keys, I have to literally put the bag down to use both hands to unfasten the lock. Just a suggestion to BM...there should be a spring lock so when the tongue is depressed, the lock should eject itself making it easier to unfasten the lock. I hate to return it for this reason so I will have to avoid putting anything in that front pocket that I will necessarily need right away. Otherwise, this is a great tote bag...very functional yet classy.

Gorgeous Bag
I have this tote in White. This is going to be my Summer bag. It's roomy and not heavy at all. LOVE THIS TOTE!!!!

White is bright!
I ordered this in White because I wanted a white tote for summer time. This bag is a tote and very soft and has a nice front pocket. The inside his his classic three pocket style with the center pocket zipper for security if needed. I would have kept this bag but I found a bag just like it at Marshalls for half the price. So back it went. I did however order other bags from B. Makowsky line because these bags hold up. I now have
12 B Mak bags and love them all. Here is a hint on all light colored bags. Protect them with leather water proof spay to keep them cleaner longer. Watch out for blue jean rub off on your purses. If you protect them you can clean them!
