hmmmm..disappointing
I just received this bag today in claret red..and while the picture is beautiful, the other review is correct..its a dull dark red..this handbag looks old, worn..and it is smaller than I expected it to be..I actually feel this purse was a return and that I received it..I don't think I will be ordering anymore bmak bags..this is about the 4th one I've ordered and all but one have gone back..

natural snake is beautiful but
I got this bag on 01/30/12. Didn't really start using it until Mid February. At first, got a lot of compliments on the bag and I loved it. The natural snake is a beautiful leather bag but it is now 04/04/12 and the bag is starting to shed string in certain places and the leather on the handle is splitting off. For a B Makowsky bag, I expect much more. I havent even finished paying off the easy pay yet. I expect it to last at least one full season? Maybe the regular leather bags hold up better, I dont know?

nice with a number of BUTs
I purchased the claret. Color is a dull dark red, like a merlot. Leather is soft and beautiful to the touch. Shape is small for a tote. It could have been more functional if sides were squared rather than tapered. The magnetic closure does not snap tightly. If I didn't use a bag organizer with zippers, the small contents of the bag could have fallen off easily. The shoulder strap also made the bag misshapen, perhaps because the botton was not large enough to compensate for the length of the bag's top edge. I wish this bag didn't have to go back but for the quality of the leather and the BMakowsky name, something as pricey as this should be at least near perfect! But, I would still recommend this product to a friend.

Its the prettiest bag ever!
I recieved this bag in black from my husband for my anniversary .its awesome i love it love it love it .leather is soft and the bag is so stylish one great bag ... i will be carrying this for a long time.5 STAR BAG

Gorgeous handbag
This is really a beautiful bag. I thought it would be a little larger but it is really a nice size and very comfortable to wear. I got it in the natural snake and it matches a pair of shoes I have perfectly. Anorther winner from Bruce!!!!

Scrumptious -- Best Bag Ever!
Cannot say enough about this bag… Purchased it in the Claret and it is gorgeous! .

Love that it has the convertible strap with the longer 19” drop. The rings for the clip-on strap are positioned well -- handy & convenient to use but below the visual line of the bag. When you choose to use just the shorter handles, you’d never realize it’s a convertible unless you’re close enough to look into the bag. Great design!

This lovely bag has enough inside pockets (1 zippered, 2 open/slip) in the right size to be efficient but not ‘overly’ organized.

Beautiful color and soft leather, as usual from B. Makowsky. Would like to see this Poppy style in additional colors, like cobalt or indigo, for example.
