beautiful bag, but....
I purchased this bag for as a birthday present to myself. I wish I read the reviews. I agree with other reviewers. I have had this bag for a little less than 6 months and only recently paid the easy pay on it. To my surprise, the corners on the bag did indeed start to look worn. I have taken very good care of the bag and I think for the price of the bag it should not have worn this way. When I spoke with someone in customer service she was quite helpful and acknowledged that is how patent leather wears. Again, beautiful bag, but for the price, it's not worth keeping as it will only continue to crack. Not worth it!!! I'm surprised at Dooney and Bourke.

Loved it at first
Loved this bag when I first received it. Great size and color-tan. But....after using it for a short period of time, like other reviewers, the patent leather in each corner wore away. This is NOT what I expect from a Dooney & Bourke bag. I have many others and have been pleased with them.

I didn't like this bag because the strap isn't long enough. Since I have problems with my hands, I prefer a bag with a long enough crossbody adjustable strap. This bag is nice and very expensive, but not for me.

JUST DO IT
Just received my black Dooney today. I fell in love, it's now my new favorite bag. I was thrilled with the patent leather, really feels rich and the perfect size for everyday but could definitely work in the evening too. Thanks for a beautiful handbag!!!!!!!

beautiful bag but......
I ordered the navy blue in this bag. It is a beautiful bag and I get a lot of compliements on it but......I just looked at
it closely today and the bottom corners of the bag no longer patent. the patent leather has worn off on the bottom
corners. When I bought this bag,
the host said "This is patent leather....this is the good stuff". I think
Dooney should plan ahead for future bags and put corners on the bags and feet to protect the bag.

could do without this one
When I ordered this bag I was so excited to finally find a red bag. I found that the bag wouldn't stand up by itself. So I fixed that by adding a large purse organizer into it. This bag has no feet on the bottom. Now I see that Dooney is now offering another purse which I think is made better, has the feet and leather on the bottom of the bag. I paid more for this bag than what u r offering today. I'll never purchase another Dooney bag. I feel as though they made a very big mistake. But I also feel as though they don't care anyway.

FEW DRAWBACKS!!
I purchased this bag to use thru the Xmas season, which I used the purse all of December and a week in January. It's a true cherry red color which I was happy about. The size is what I expected. However, THE DRAWBACKS are:
* The handle is too short, not long enough to put on your shoulder so it slips off but it does have the longer strap for that.
* On the inside of the purse, the longer slip pocket stitching came apart on one side after about couple of weeks so wasn't able to put anything in there after that. Nothing heavy was put in that pocket just couple of post it notes. But could see that stitching wasn't a quality stitching for a purse with that price tag. Now I have to get it repaired!
* Also, the key fabric ring is black. Think maybe red would've been a better choice for D & B. But maybe black was cheaper!

Blue and black
I purchased this handbag in the dark blue and black at the QVC outlet. I got them at an unbelievable value. Today, the first time I used the dark blue, I noticed the outside edge of the bag's patent finish peeling off on two ends. I am extremely disappointed as the bag is gorgeous and matches a pair of patent slides I have. I inspected the black handbag and there is no sign of peeling; however, will it too in no time start to peel? It truly is a concern. Even though I got an unbelievable value on the two bags, they are still not inexpensive! Otherwise, these handbags are probably the most gorgeous Dooneys I have come across, very sleek and high class looking. If Dooney could cure the patent finish peeling off, these truly would be winners in my book! As Lisa would say: "love, love love!"

Pretty...but not Dooney quality!!!
I purchased this bag in the cherry red, I was so excited to carry it, first time I did, I carried to a wedding, when I got home, I noticed the corner was already peeling!!! It really needs to have the feet on it. Had to return because of the quality! Please add feet and will purchase again!!!

Absolutely Gorgeous!
I always wanted a red bag, and this one is beautiful! It looks and feels luxurious. The size is perfect for me, and it works with and without the strap. I have seen some negative reviews, but I guess we all have different needs and tastes. This is my first Dooney and Bourke, but it won't be my last!

Key keeper ruins bag
Yes, it's true the fabric key keeper is why i'm sending it back. The bag itself is great. Beautiful color, inside color is nice and not that awful red color that is in the more expensive bags. Why can't they just go back with the neutral color they use to have? I don't care for colored interiors. No matching key fob is another reason I am returning this bag. This was another disappointment. Between the cheapie key keeper and no matching key fob included are the two little things that make this bag, a bag I can live without..hate cheapie short-cuts on an otherwise very nicely appointed bag. Makes you wonder..
