My favorite Dooney ever!
I bought this bag in chestnut and it is gorgeous! I love the Florentine leather, it softens up and ages beautifully. The size is spot on. It holds a lot without looking like luggage. I doubled the crossbody strap because I'm very petite and it works perfectly over the shoulder, although I like to carry it as a satchel also. I can't imagine anyone not loving this bag. It does have a little weight to it, but not bad. It has such a quality high end look and feel. Get it, you will be happy for many years to come.

HEAVY, HEAVY, HEAVY
Now I have another heavy Dooney. It is made well and it is small, but it is heavy without
anything in it.
Dooney must learn from other manufacturers how to design a bag for women who don't
want to carry bags that are heavier than they are.
It said "small satchel" so I thought that this would be ideal. I was wrong.
I do like the quality and the smell of the leather is great but when you get older, you would
rather not have to carry the kitchen sink every time you leave the house.
I also like the rich chestnut color. Maybe I'll just carry a piece of paper in it, with plastic keys
to keep things light.

Very Stylish
I ordered the natural and love the color. This is my first D & B purse, and I do not know why I waited so long to order
one. The Florentine leather is amazing smooth and sturdy. The satchel is constructed to last a very long time. I still need more pockets,
but with the compliments I have received this satchel is a winner.

Good Quality
This purse is good quality leather and excellent workmanship. Absolutely beautiful bag but is way toooooo heavy! If you have any kind of arthritis, joint pain or back issues this is not the bag for you. Unfortunately, the one I purchased is on it way back to QVC :(

The bag was gorgeous, but...
The bag was absolutely beautiful, but much too easily scratched. The moment I took it out of the box, I noticed scuff marks and scratches. I initially thought I had been sent a used handbag. I put it back in the box for later inspection and noticed as I did so that there was another small scratch just from putting it into the box. By no means am I hard on my purses, so I was dismayed that it could be so easily damaged. I will continue to buy D&B purses, but I will stay away from the Florentine leather. It's just not durable enough to stand up to even minimal wear. It was a little heavy, but not enough to keep me from wearing it...it would have been perfect for me since I carry my tablet everywhere I go. As I have stated, the bag was gorgeous...I was so disappointed about having to return it.

Fun, stylish, status bag
My Fiance bought this for me in white as a Christmas gift (not at Q). I must admit, I couldn't let go of my everyday Small Florentine Vachetta satchel. But now the weather is warming up, so I have been carrying this bag for the past week. It is a fun, stylish bag with the Dooney name and quality. It is a little on the small side for me. I can't fit the same items I can fit into my satchel. I cannot put anything more than keys or a cell phone in the front pocket. If I put my glasses in the front, it makes the bag too bulky and difficult to close. The back outside pocket is too snug to get much use. I still like the bag, it is just one of my smaller purses in my D & B collection. It is well made and definitely a keeper!

I have this in Natural and it's my favorite D&B purse (though the D&B coated cotton floral print Janine Satchel is very close behind) :-)
This purse is the right size, the Natural color is warm and gorgeous and I love the trim alongside the purse. I can wear this purse anywhere - from going to work, to after work dinners and get-togethers, to weekend shopping and brunches with family and friends. Plus, it so matches my jeans and boots when I'm heading out to ride my horse, very equestrian-like, but still so elegant and well-made. Will be getting this in taupe next!

Awesome!!
I received this handbag in the taupe color last week. What an awesomely gorgeous handbag it is! I love the shoulder strap and the two handles for ease of carrying and it is the perfect size for everyday use for me. My husband happened to be home the day it arrived and he said "you aren't sending that one back"! Enough said...thanks QVC for the easy pay and Dooney and Bourke for the great styling.

Just Fabulous!
The reviews here were spot-on! I've been looking for a bag that's just right for my petite frame. After days of self-deliberation, I decided to pick this style and chose taupe. I was thrilled to see this bag today, it's my first D&B and I have to say, I'm hooked so definitely there will be more purchases in the future. It was packed neatly, with dust bag, and the stitching was superb. The detachable strap is indeed long but I'm more of the satchel/hand-carry type so that's not an issue with me.

I received my D&B Florentine Pocket Satchel in Royal Blue today and I just love it. The color is perfect, the pocket in the front is perfect, the stitching is so pretty, the size is just right and what else can I say - it's just perfect. :o)

Returned same day
Handbag came in box just in plastic bag. No tissue paper, shoulder strap attached and outside of bag with no stuffing inside. This was obviously a return. Bad QVC! You need to check your quailty control. This bag was over $300 not $19.99.

WOW!
Purchased in the black - LOVE! I came back and have ordered it in the red - can't wait to get it home! Here's a tip you might try if you want to carry it more like a shoulder bag - just double the strap by rebuckling. I carry mine this way when I want a shorter shoulder bag look.
