Great Winter Scent
Just received this set and I really like it. I DO smell a little Wintergreen, a little mint, but with a soft fresh crispness. I live in Pa, so this is perfect from the Holiday's through the Winter season.

Pleasant Scent
This product has received some bad reviews, but I love its scent. I also bought the foot scrub and lotion in the winter green and am very pleased with both products. The only complaint I have is that the bottles are a hard plastic and difficult to squeeze. I have to remove the cap to get the gel and lotion out. Other than that, the product has a nice pine-fresh, non-perfumed scent .

Beautiful color, lovely scent, but...
... it doesn't smell like wintergreen.
I purchased this set after reading the reviews here, frankly, to use as a cute hand soap and lotion for my guest bath. I was after a scent that wasn't overpowering and this really is light and fresh.
I love the color! It's so beautiful, sort of a blue-green shimmer. While it didn't work out as a soap/lotion for the bath, I'm happily using it in the shower.
My two small quibbles are that the scent name is misleading. There's very little mint, and a bit of a sweet, candylike undertone. I like it, though. My other quibble is with the lotion bottle. The product just doesn't want to come out easily and could use a pump-type dispenser.
But I like the smaller sizing!

Wonderful Winter Fragrance
I received this for Christmas and fell in love. This is a light fragrance with a slight minty smell. I really thought that I might smell like a stick of gum; but I didn't. I need a body spray to accompany it. This will be added to my winter fragrance collection.

PHILOSOPHY FLOPS!
THESE DO NOT SMELL GOOD, PERIOD. THERE IS NOTHING MORE TO SAY. I WOULD BE EMBARASSED TO GIVE IT AS A GIFT AS IT IS AN EMBARASSMENT TO THE PHILOSOPHY FAMILY! STINKY STINKY FOLKS, IMHO.

Good News; Bad News
The good news is -- I love the spearmint notes, as I like that better than peppermint. But the bad news is -- there's this hint of a pine like scent at the end, that I don't care for. If they remove that, then this would be a five star product. But it's not bad and I will use the two that I purchased. Philosophy needs to go back to the drawing board to make a true spearmint scent. I also like that this package (compared to the bigger sizes of this product) is the classic no-nonsense Philosophy minimalist packaging that I love. I hope Coty keeps this in mind...make this scent more true and keep the classic Philosophy looking bottle designs. This isn't a bad little shower gel, it just needs some improvement.

Wonderfully refreshing
I love, love, love everything about this gel and lotion. It's refreshing and just the perfect pick me up in the shower on a dreary winter morning.
Like others, however, the bottles are terribly stiff - especially if you are a little 'older' and the hands don't work as well as they should
I wish these came in 32 or 64 oz bottles!!

Smells TERRIBLE!!
I purchased three sets of this item to give away as Christmas gifts... one each for my son's two teachers and another as an "extra"... and much to my dismay, the product smells TERRIBLE!! I honestly can't even describe what it smells like... bathroom cleaner meets room deodorizer?? This is my first purchase of Philosophy... very disappointing.

Not as minty as expected
I, too, thought the scent was a little on the weak side. While it is a nice, light scent that lingers for a short while, it's not as minty as I was hoping. For a longer lasting scent I've applied the lotion after showering. This seems to help. The bottles are hard to handle in the shower, I agree. It lathers as expected, like all the Philosophy products. My husband says it's not too girly for him to use, which I suppose is a positive for him.

Love it!!
Not sure why the harsh reviews.... I love the smell! It reminds me of walking thru the snow on a winters day, in a pine forest, while eating a orange! It's a real relaxing smell that makes me think of a special place near Callicoon, NY. The packaging is great too. I love the trees on the front and the sides that look like its been knitted. I bought 2, one for myself and the other will be gifted to my aunt for Xmas. I'd buy this in a larger size if available!!!

Very Disappointed
When I saw this I was so excited because I love the scent of wintergreen. However, I was so let down when it arrived. I could barely smell anything in the 3-in-1 and the bit of scent I could smell in the lotion did not smell like wintergreen. Very disappointing.

Packaging Difficulties
I recently purchased this product and although it make my skin really soft I'm not wild about the smell. It is ok, but I was expecting something a little more "minty". Also, the bottles are so stiff that it makes it very difficult to squeeze the product out of the bottle - especially with wet hands in the shower.
Because of the smell and packaging issues I am only rating this product 2-stars.
