Great Bag
Love this bag. Great workmanship. When it say "small" satchel it is small. Only reason not a 5-star is that the bag is too small for me. Gave it to my sister and she loves it. Ordered large bag for me.

just a request from an advid dooney shopper.
I am a collector. I've long ago gotten over the price, but the more you buy (I have a closet full) the more you examine. Dooney: you brag that you read the reviews. I now own enough to feel entitled to seek a few universal changes. 1. Open up that zipper wide enough for our convince - not yours. Enough of us have complained. What about this quote "we read them and we listen". Fix it! 2. My first and most adamate issue: ditch the misplaced and frequently clashing red zipper. The price you demand warrents a coordinate bag. Men do not wear a blue suit with a red zipper!!! 3. Check your work. We should not have to ask for a second bag because of dye inconsistancies or scratches. You seek a substantial price. We just want the bag to match the price tag so gracefully riboned to the bag.(nice touch). 4. Bring back more colors in the nubuck satchel. It's a knockout bag. Thanks for reviewing. I look forward to serious consideration.

NICE, BUT A FEW PROBLEMS
First of all, this is a great style bag. Love the "small" satchel, as the "medium" one is too big for me. This bag arrived today, and as with some others, seemed like it was a return from someone else. In a plastic bag taped up, no plastic around the hardware. It is a beautiful color (caramel, which would go with everything), but it was scuffed on the sides, which are a different leather than the nubuck on the front and back of the bag. The nubuck itself is OK, but it had a strange texture to it, almost pebbled. Nubuck should be more suede like, at least in my humble opinion. It is the same style as the small satchel I purchased over the holidays, and that one is Dillen leather which I prefer to any of the other leather types. the Florentine is just too stiff and heavy for me for a handbag, and I didn't care for the nubuck texture. It is a nice looking bag and I wish I could keep it, but for $368 + tax + shipping, it's too costly to not be perfect. Sadly, it went back the same day it arrived. I love the three bags I recommended below, the black with saddle trim in the Dillen small satchel, black in small Juliette (for when I don't carry too much), and the beautiful crimson in the Dillen medium pocket satchel! Go for any of these, they are all beautiful and classy!

Most beautiful Dooney she owns!
I purchased this bag for my lovely wife as a valentines present but couldn't wait to give it to her. She says it's the most beautiful Dooney she's ever seen and considering that she owns 20+ Dooneys, that's saying a lot!
Would definitely recommend this bag to anyone looking for a classy purse that doesn't cost your first born!

Pretty but not Perfect
I received the carmel and it is a beautiful bag. But I feel it is heavy and the top is not wide enough.

Great Purse
I love this purse! Before buying this bag I read numerous reviews and I always start with the lowest ratings. I do not find this bag heavy or hard to get into and everthing stays organized. I usually spend about $150.00 on my bags, so this is the most expenisive bag I have ever purchased. The quality and the workmanship of this bag is outstanding. I am very pleased with it. I bought the bag in Caramel, it is beautiful and the color goes with everything.

GORGEOUS!!! IN BLUE
I have been waiting ever so patiently for a DB bag in navy blue with the gorgeous leather trim, both handles and a cross body strap. WOW! Times infinity! This bag is beyond my expectations! It is STUNNING & FUNCTIONAL and I could not ask for more with a DB bag....the only brand I purchase now. I went to Macy's and they had a pair of Sperry Top Sliders in navy blue, slight sparkles on the side and the exact leather trim match of this bag! Additionally, I ordered a watch from QVC, I cannot recall the name but it is the Italian Gold with the same color wrist band as the trim on this bag as well as the bracelet that was shown with the watch.

Blown Away!!
I just received this satchel last night and WOW, I am in love! I ordered the rust color, and it is fabulous. The leather is so soft that I just want to curl up inside of it and go to sleep. I cant' wait for it to come back in, in the denim color because I will be purchasing it in that color as well. This is only my 2nd Dooney and I'm hooked. My friend that I am "willing" these bags to will probably knock me off prematurely just to get my fast growing collection.
