Feminine & Comfortable I ordered this Jacket in Emerald, what a gorgeous color! I wear med to Lg, and so ordered Med and it fit so nice and feels so easy and comfortabe to wear. My husband said it looks flattering on me. Joan, if you could make them like an inch longer, otherwise more colors are needed please! 02-28-13

Definite WINNER !! Totally love this jacket! So versatile.Wore it with jeans, nice silky cami and a ruffled scarf just draped from my neck..not tied at all, low heeled boots (I am a senior and can,t do the higher heels anymore) All silver jewelry and the look was stunning.Best of all, this jacket gave me a waistline!!Has a lot of feminine appeal with the low cut v-neckline. Wore it over a sleeveless dress...WOW! A whole new look. Fit is perfect (runs a bit large) So versatile it will remain a part of my wardrobe for ever and ever! Nice jacket The price on this is very good. The material is rather flimsy in my opinion. Not similar to other jackets. This is my third JR jacket--I love her style! The color green is lovely. This weight is perfect for Atlanta. 01-24-13

Size Down! Great jacket, I bought two colors. I am usually a medium on qvc, but in this jacket I was a small. 01-23-13

Confusing When I received this jacket, I didn't like it. The fabric looked cheap and it was a bit large. Rather than return it and have to pay more shipping costs, I decided to wash it and dry it in the dryer. Well, to my surprise, it completely changed the look and feel of the fabric and the fit is a bit better. Now it looks like velvet, as advertised. I wouldn't recommend as a gift since it takes a washing to make it look good. 01-22-13

Another Fantastic Jacket From Joan! I got this jacket in the black and am absolutely thrilled with it! - but then, this goes for more or less ALL of Joan's jackets. I have bought at least a dozen of them in the last year, and the design is indeed ingenious. I have had many compliments, friends saying that they look like they were expertly tailored for me. They accentuate my figure beautifully, and this one, like all of them, I wore to work straight out of the box, no fussing required. Joan, you are a true innovator. Please never stop making these marvelous jackets for us! 01-19-13

Velvet? A huge disappointment. Its so not velvet feeling. Feels more like a cheap fabric to me. Also makes you look short waisted. Not great value. 01-17-13

My Beautiful Brown Velvet Jacket I am delighted with my Joan Rivers Velvet Signature Jacket. Earlier, I received this jacket in black. I thought that was pretty but now I have the jacket in brown and it is even more beautiful. The fit is perfect. The fabric is rich looking. Thank you Joan Rivers. I like it! After reading some of the other reviews, I was a little apprehensive about purchasing this jacket. I looked elsewhere, but couldn't find what I wanted. So I tried QVC and the Joan Rivers jacket in black velvet. I love it! It fits well and looks nice. I can't wait to wear it! 01-15-13
