Now this I liked! Petite length still a little long for 5'3" but it is big enough to hike up a bit. Got the jacket and looks like a nice suit-was afraid might be too frilly for business but it is just fine.
Thinking of plum shoes..........

Well worth it!, Runs long.
Great quality for the $. I, also bought the matching blazer. The only thing that everyone should note is that the skirt length is long. I read some of the reviews and, luckily, ordered.the petite size (I'm 5'7") and it hits just above my knee (where I like it and is still professional). God only knows where the regular would have hit! So take heed and note what length you.want the skirt to be on you..

PERFECT
Luv this skirt I have orderd the black, brown & blue they a.are just lovely. I ordered them in my normal size and the fit is perfect, don't understand the negative reviews on sizing unless I have been just lucky (for the first time in my life - yeah! ) I also purchased the jacket in the same three colors and again just beautiful. My hope now is this in maybe a brown,black & ivory tweed & for Spring in Blush pink and Ivory! Joan, thank you, you never fail us, another beauty!!!

Perfect skirt
I ordered the Red Jacket ...Love it !
I like that it is a red with some blue in it as I have auburn hair and cant wear many reds.
Unfortunatly the skirt had sold out so quickly.
I was online and noticed that they had the Petite size back in stock.
I prefer a shorter skirt anyway (5'6" with long legs) and this one comes just above my knee.
This is made well looks very high end and fits the bill for somany occasions

runs small
I ordered the same size I always buy and the skirt would not even begin to zip. Before returning I ordered another and had to order 2 sizes larger than normal. I know I will have to alter it but the problem is the lining. It is ripped in the back seam. It looks like someone tried it on and busted the seam lose. In the morning the first one will be going back and the second one will be altered. If I wasn't going to alter it I would have to send it back because I was sent a defective skirt. Not very happy with the quality of the skirt but like the jacket..

Very pretty
Bought two sets with petite skirts. One had a pull right in the front of the skirt but the fit was perfect. The other skirt, the waist was an inch larger and too loose. The sizes were petite 10 but the skirts measured differently. Had to return both. They were, however, really pretty and classy.

Too Small!!!
I usually love all things Joan. This skirt is the exception. I ordered my usual size and it was at least 2 inches too small across the tummy and hip. And, I hate to say it Joan, the fabric was way below your usual. I cringe writing this as I just love you and all you have done and accomplished. I ordered the chocolate. The color was deep and beautiful. But, it must go back!!!

Better fit found in Del'Olio
I wanted a suit so I will keep the skirt. The green is divine. I wish Joan had used the same fit models as Louis Del'Olio, his skirts fit me like a dream. This one is very straight and brings a little too much attention to my tummy. I am not petite (5'11") but I wanted a shorter skirt and the ruffle would make alterations more expensive. The skirt is exactly the length I wanted (just the top of the knee). It's going to make a wonderful Christmas suite. My Nolan Miller Reindeer pin will look beautiful on the matching jacket.

Great quality and fit. Color matches the jacket perfectly. I am a petitie and the sleeves are full lenght instead of 3/4. Thanks Joan for another great suit.!
