got lucky last week and happen upon this beautiful purse in red. i've been looking at this purse on qvc for the longest and it has been sold out!! so when i seen it i diden't think twice even tho it was only offer in red i order it !! so i've been waiting on my db purse thinking my red purse was gona be more of a deeper red like some of the other db bags, i'm so disapointed got my purse today and it is a bright red!! and i mean crimson red,can't make up my mind but i'm a wine red person so probably return and hope this purse will be back. love the leather, love the size, love, everthing about this beautiful db purse, just the wrong color of red for me!! qvc and dooney & bourke please get this purse back in stock in all colors, its been sold out all summer!! please!!!

HEARD THROUGH THE REVIEWER LINE--THIS BAG ROCKS...
...AND I MOST CERTAINLY AGREE and THIS IVORY D&B BEAUTY has earned its rightful place amongst my favored bags. It fits over my shoulder comfortably as I hug it to my body. This bag will never go out of style, just as the many other D&B, plus other favored brands. The inside spacing is open to much organization, as I carry essentials, plus a few extra this ‘n that. The zip top closure is a security feature I favor, such as security against walking very busy streets in a city, and a hand reaching forward to go into my Hobo Bag. (It happened to me in NY City but I caught the action BEFORE the zipper was half open on another bag in my collection). This Pebble East/West gem is favored with -- the 100% cotton-lining; the handy leash key chain; and detail quality is visible within/without right down to the last stitch. I EXPECT NO LESS WITH ALL D&B BAGS. The supple leather allows opening the bag wide as its roomy inside walls take on what I fill it with, and very definitely deep and spacious for a medium-size bag. I immediately applied shoe-repair leather crème for protection, and conditioning As Dooney & Bourke long-time logo stands for -- the rain runs off it like off a DUCK’S feathers! And, yes, THIS HOBO BAG DOTH ROCK! :-)

PERFECT!!!
I have been looking for the perfect D&B for a few months, I like outside pockets and the large slip pocket is ideal for items that you can easily retrieve. The leather and workmanship is beautiful. I got black and hopefully the red will become available again,
I will go back for a second one! I would like to see this design also in the florentine.

Nice Bag and Shape
I have another Collins bag and love it. I ended up returning this one but not because of the quality. The quality was wonderful as most DB bags are. The color was just not for me. I tend to buy bright colored bags and though I would try a neutral but it was just not me. Congrats to anyone else that gets this bag and loves the color. It really was a nice quality.

Great purse
I just received this purse today and was so excited to open the box. The color was just alittle darker than I had expected, but still liked the style and the texture of the leather. This is my 2nd Dooney and appreciate the quality and workmanship of the bags. I believe I have become a fan. Perfect size and shape.

The Best Bag Purchase
When I looked at this bag online I was impressed by the look of the bag and the details. But when I got the bag I was more then impressed, I was thrilled. It exceeded my expectations. Great workmanship, great looking leather and stitching, and it looks like it can stand any beating from daily use. The inside of the bag was much bigger than I expected, very roomy and deeply pocketed. This was the best investment in a pocketbook I have made in the last year.

Bought this Collins bag at my QVC outlet, today. Got it at a great price. Love the slip pocket in the front and the zipper pocket in the back of the bag. The saddle color of this purse is slightly lighter than the zip pocket hobo bag. It's a medium size bag that will hold loads of stuff. I know the ivory will cost more on line, but I plan to order it. I hope that it is truly a light yellow. I'll trust that other reviewer.

Awesome Bag
I love Dooney, but I have sent bags back that didn;t work for my style. This one is extra-ordinary. Its a mid-size bag that can handle the punishment I give. Its organized on the inside. Very streamline and elegant - not any fru-fru. I hate outside pockets. It zips at the top for secrurity. It hits close under the arm & small enough to go in a work desk drawer. I purchased the red, black, and blue. I was just too slow to get the brown. Hopefully, it will become available again. This bag ROCKS!
