WEN by Chaz Dean Sweet Almond Mint and Pomegranate Duo
Hairs the same
I've wanted to try Wen for a long time so I finally did. My hair did not change or improve at all. I don't like the smell. Oh well at least I tried it but disappointed.
My Favorite Shampoo
I was very skeptical when I tried WEN shampoo. I have very fine, thin hair, and was sure it would be greasy and flat when using this shampoo, but I wanted to try it. Well, it is my FAVORITE shampoo. I have used the Lavender and Pomagranate shampoo and cannot even begin to tell you how great my hair looks and fixes. I am a WEN user for life! I Love this Shampoo!
Always assumed my hair wouldnt be clean without lather but was totally wrong... so love how soft and manageable yet feeling sooo clean it leaves your hair ...keeper!..although a bit expensive to maintain
not the same
I have been using Wen 4 years and something has changed in the product that does not work as well as it did in the beginning.
Not what I expected
First of all, wasn't as magical as it seemed on TV. Made my scalp too moist and I had to wash my hair more often. It took a lot of product for one wash. Disappointed
Everyone should give Wen a try. It works wonders on my hair so soft and not dry anymore.
This duo purchase is a great buy. I love it!!
Thank you QVC
I loved this product. My hair feels so soft and silky. My hair is fine and thin and this makes it look fuller and thicker.
I Love It!
I've been wanting to try this for years and finally got tired of my hair looking dull and dry. My hair is fine and wavy and a bit dry from coloring styling, etc. I was a bit apprehensive due to some negative feedback, but there are also tons of great reviews so I decided to give it a try. QVC really has the best deal around especially since it's not on "auto renewal" like it is on the Wen website. I hate being forced to purchase anything.
The results are not all that dramatic but my hair definitely feels a lot more moisturized and healthy and my scalp is no longer dry. I think people expect this product to give them amazing hair in one wash, but I think it takes time. My hair seems to get better and better with each wash and I expect the new growth to be even healthier. It's not going to turn dried out damaged spit ends into lustrous locks, so I would also recommend a healthy cut before you start.
I also don't use the ridiculous amount of product they suggest. Hair can only absorb so much product. Just make sure it is saturated with product. My hair is fine and about collar bone length. I use five pumps, then really really work it through for several minutes and rinse it out. Then I use 5 more pumps working it through really well again. It seems to thicken as you work it through. I let it sit on my hair as long as possible the second time while I finish up in the shower. Then rinse, rinse, rinse. I've seen people complain about itchy scalp or not feeling clean. I've never experienced this but I rinse it out really well. You will also want to re-wash your face with face wash. Any shampoo or conditioner of any brand is not meant for your face/body and can cause breakouts. I've been using it for about two weeks and love it. I can't see myself going back to regular shampoo. The smell of these are okay. Not very strong. I'd really like to try the Mango Coconut which I hear smells amazing.
Half and Half
I received this duo the week, and I tried the Pomegranate , tried this one first, it was ok, my hair is colored, it made it smooth when washed, and then after, I put some back in, a leave in, but when I tried to comb through it, now my hair is shoulder length, and I used a wide tooth comb, it was so tangled, I was breaking my hair, and the smell was not so good, so this one I must give a 2 star.
Now, The Sweet Almond Mint, that one I liked better, it washed my hair better, and it not tangle as much, and my hair was more fuller, I will give this one a 3 stars, if in the future, I buy another product from Wen,I might try the Lavender one, and FYI, it would be nice to put samples of , the Hair Mask, The Styling Cream, a small bottle of the Mists, I would Love to try them , buying them first, is a trial and error, and sending them back costs much sending these things back, if we had real trial sizes, and liked them? then we would buy them. S. Silliman
after seeing the demonstration all day on qvc i had to order this. I tried it and it makes ur hair look and feel like u havent washed it in days. Very greasy feel but lifeless at the same time. I followed the instructions And very disappointed. I will be sending it back. Dont beloeve the hype.
FINALLY tried Wen...
I have been dying to try Wen, but didn't want to spend all of the money just to try it. My long hair is in need of some help...especially as I am getting older by the second...55...sigh, so i did it. Well, what a shock! I used 9 pumps - enough to really get all of my hair and scalp saturated....let it stay in during the shower and rinsed .....wow, my hair felt CLEAN!! I have tried other sulfate free shampoos on my long, colored red hair, and nothing felt like that...actually clean. I towel dried my hair, (as that is what i prefer on a day to day), and my hair felt and looked clean and great! It is now one day later and my hair still feels clean! Next, I will style my hair and see how it goes...so far i have to say I am amazed.
Don't give up!
Wen has transformed my hair. You need to continue to use it for at least 3 months DO NOT GIVE UP! You will be glad you tried Wen. I use 2 pumps to wash and my hair is 3 inches below my shoulders. Using it for leave in conditioner, I use 1/2 pump. My hair is thicker, more manageable and fuller. It is growing longer and looks very healthy. My friend uses Wen on her 3 year old daughter. She has manageable hair unlike most girls her age. My only complaint is the packaging. The pump does not go all of the way to the bottom of the bottle. I keep my old bottles and combine them into one. I keep this to use as the leave in bottle. You will be surprised how many pumps you get just by doing a little extra work. Overall it is worth the money. I have almost no hair in the drain in the shower - that means less breakage and healthier hair. My 18 year old uses Wen and has experienced the same results as I.
