Great lip product
When I was a little girl, I used to watch my mother put on her lipstick with a brush every morning. Now, when I use this, I think of her. Once you get the hang of the brush, it is a pleasure. Of course you can't apply this in the car or sneak it on wherever. I have other Dalton lipsticks for that. I really like the way this makes my lips feel moisturized. The color stays but the gloss is like gloss, it lasts for a bit then you have to reapply. The color of this set is really beautiful and goes with red without being a red lipstick. I was on the waitlist forever for the Lipstick Queen red lipstick but thought I would give this a try and I am very glad I did. Now I realize that this is a much better color for me and I can wear this every day. With a true red lipstick, you really have to be careful what color clothes and eyeshadow you wear with it or you look out of balance. I am sorry to see that this color will be discontinued. It really is worth trying.

Doesn't stay on at all
Going back, beautiful color but doesn't stay on. I'm looking for something that stays on for long periods, thought this was it, but didn't stay on long at all, so disappointed.

My lips feel hydrated and perfect! The colors aren't too drastic, keeping it natural and light.

Leah what were you expecting
The color pot is hard to get color out. The gloss is creamy but neither stay non at all. Too bad - back it goes.

Love the lip color
I love the lip color. It is the best mauve I have found. I haven't used much of the gloss yet. I am pleased with this and would purchase this again. I would really like it if it were in a tube. I didn't expect it to be long wearing, so if it lasts an hour or two I am OK with that. This really is the color Leah wears on the air. I wear this as an everyday color.
Try it I think you will be pleased.

Gloss is great
Gloss is great. Can you sell it separately? No need for the lipstick which is very drying and makes no impact. Also can you make the gloss in the exact same color but more long lasting?

Beautiful color but ridiculous to work with
Love the color but why can't this be a tube of lipstick? I am a nurse & at times have to quickly put on lipstick. Nota with this system! Absolutely ridiculous that I need to carry two pots and a brush - give me a break!! Make this in a tube & I will buy it. Bought two of these as gifts and my friends loved the color but hated the pots.

Love the gloss! Lipstick not so much....
I have to say that I do agree with the other ladies reviews with this product pertaining to the "stay" on my lips. The gloss is the absolute Perfect shade. Just the right shimmer and shine with a color that fits my skin perfectly. The lipstick shade is just okay. I would however like to purchase just the gloss in maybe a different delivery system. A tube with a swab tip would be great. I'm mixed on whether I'm going to order again because I just don't care for the lipstick and that's kind of expensive for 1 little pot.

The Gloss - Love! The Lipstick - not so much
Unlike the other reviews, for me the lipstick lasted a very long time, which is great, but it pulled very coral, almost orange on me. So, I gave it to someone whose coloring would suit this better than mine. I will say that I LOVE the gloss and wish I could purchase it separately. The color is the most beautiful shade of mauve I've ever worn. The perfect shimmer and consistency too. So, it's 5 stars for the gloss and maybe 2 for the lipstick, only because of the way the color turned on me. Brush is an added bonus, but to carry the two pots can be a bit cumbersome...and heavy. You can use the lids for a mirror, which is a good thing.
