Love the bag but......
I love the size, the leather is so soft, this is a beautiful handbag.......the shoulder strap is perfect, I love everything about it except you would never know its a BMakowsky handbag unless you looked inside and who looks inside handbags......after paying this much money I would like to show it off as a BM handbag and also for his work on this.........don't get me wrong I love the handbag, just alittle disappointed you can't tell its a BM handbag unless you look inside.......come on Bruce, put your signature on the bag on the outside, be proud of your handbags......a friend of mine looked at this and said she liked it........did you get it at Macys because she knows I shop there alot........I told her no, its a BM, I had to prove it by showing her the inside.........:( Thats my only complaint about this bag..............Barbie :)

Gorgous,Love this bag!
I have this bag in two colors,Brick and Blackberry. I carried the latter to Switzerland and the incoming kept coming. I love the size and weight but, most of all the bag its class! I will order it in Black as soon as its available. Keep this style,Bruce. I will take it to Paris in May for our 40th wedding anniversary for sure.....

Mama Loved It.
I purchased this page in the pewter and loved it. I took it with me when I visited my mother for mother's day and I had to bring the contents of the purse back home in a cloth tote bag. Needless to say, my mother loved it and really wanted it and i just could leave with it knowing how much she loved. My sister also loved it and has said she will be borrowing it a lot, which means she will be getting her own. I will be reordering this bag. It is beautiful and very well made and the perfect size for me. Everyone who saw it complimented me on it.

WAAAY TOO BIG!!!!!!!!!
I love Bruce's bags and do not shy away from large bags, however this bag is humongous!!! I was trying to figure out why my other 15 inch bags are fine to wear and this one wasn't. It's because this one does not slouch at all and looks like a large envelope under my arm. and not at all the type of bag you would want to wear out. It would be more suited for a weekend bag. The leather is gorgeous and so is the style. Too bad ...I sent it back. However, I did buy another Bruce bag so I guess I'll happily survive!!!!:)

i LOVE Bruce's new bag. When you wear it, YOU WILL BE NOTICED! Be ready to receive LOTS OF COMPLIMENTS. Other women ARE going to want to know where you PURCHASED it. Why do I love this bag? It is high-end classy, with super soft glove leather. When you enter a room this handbag makes a real statement. The bag is well designed and very functional. Bruce pays attention to details, knows what women want in a handbag and delivers! The workmanship on this handbag is great. When you receive your handbag you will not be disappointed.

I Love this BAG!!!!!!!!!!!
I have had several purses from Bruce. This one is just out of sight. When I opened the box it was like love at first sight. I love the pleats in the front the back pocket is wonderful. Better then the little phone pocket that he has on most of his purses. And I just love love love this purse. I will be getting this purse in another color.

A big let down
I loved this bag so much when I saw it on TV that I ordered it in 2 colors - the pewter and the bronze. I didn't have bags in either of those colors plus the host was raving on and on about how great it was! I must say the leather is scrumtious, as all of Bruce's bags are, but I found the bag way too big - so much bigger than it looked on TV. I thought the bag was too oversized for the single small width strap. Loved the chain detail also. Bruce please make this same bag somewhat smaller!

great bag
I love this bag! So, apparently, did Random Mugger Guy the other day. I was sitting on the bus minding my own business, when I feel the bag pull. Fortunately I was holding the strap, and he was pulling the chain. Ladies, if you worried about how strong the strap is, don't. He ripped the chain off, but I kept the bag!
Anyway, I cut off the loops that held the chain to try and make the bag look okay anyway. It's got some scratches from the incident (which do *not* rub out), and the trim is a bit ripped in one place. Still, as generous as QVC is with returns I can't imagine "Doesn't fully hold up to attempted purse-snatching" would count as a valid reason. I suspect it's the kind of damage that only I will notice anyway.
Summary: great bag, *very* well made.

BEST YET!!!!! LOVE!!!!!!
This is my favorite of all my B-Mak. handbags! Perfect size, beautiful shape, love the pleats across the front yet also on the sides so this is what you see coming & going! It has a wonderful single padded handle which feels and looks great! The chain is perfect to add a bit of an edge. You could flip it back though for simply a pure classy handbag. This is a perfect dark black (NOT dull) and of course it's a very soft leather. I also have this in Pewter too which I think makes for a nice summer color, but it's fine now too. I am very used to the magnectic closures (LOVE) but this is easy to close, is very secure, and I love the two tone hardware closure. I don't think the chain would make for a good handle at all. It looks great just hanging in the front and I think that grabs more attention as I get so many compliments when I carry these purses. I agree with another review as to what is the big deal of flipping the chain back to the front when you are already bring the flap of the purse to the front? My gosh! It opens nice and wide too with a beautiful purple satin lining. I can't believe anyone would want two handles on this as it looks so nice as it is. I do not like double handles and Bruce does not make enough single handled purses anyway. So, are we not to get any purses but the 90% double handled bags you have to choose from? A second handle is a hassle to me as it is always dropping. So, to sum this handbag up it is the perfect bag for dressy to everyday, a perfect size which is not too big, has a wonderful shape, the pleats are pure class, it is not heavy, and I like that it has feet on the bottom. I would however LOVE this in white for summer too! Thank you Bruce for really putting so much thought into making the perfect purse with everything we need inside too! I LOVE THIS PURSE!

I have to say that the negative reviews I just don't understand. Everyone is entitled to their own say but this bag is major!!!!!! just my two cents.
