NOT FOR ME!!!!
I bought these liners last year in every shade possibly made but what a big disappointment they are.They're too chubby to get a precise like drawn on your lid,they don't last at all,they were all around disappointing.Nice colors and I love Tarte lights camera lashes mascara but these had to go back,they just weren't worth keeping for me.

I really like the tarte products that I have purchased.
After all the hype and convincing myself this is the answer to my eyeliner search, I am sad to say it didn't work that great for me.
The color is very pretty and I like the smouldering look but it is too much to pay for eyeliner that I am not completely satisfied with. I am returning . . . .

A Finishing Touch To Lookin' Good!
You name it...I've tried It. Eye make-up I'm talking about. I love to line the 'inner rim' in my eye. It takes about 20 seconds with these pencils. I have all four. I wish they'd make more colors. The color stays put, even in very hot weather, it doesn't melt (run). I tried to pick my favorite color when I decided to post this. Try as I did, I couldn't pick a color(although I admit the violet is close to perfect.

OK, but just OK
I have tried every eyeliner known, and nothing stays on for me, nothing doesn't end up below my eyes in less than half a day - I guess it is just a curse of mine. Tried primers beforehand and even that doesn't help either. That being said, I like the way this product goes on - either right from the pencil end or by using an angled eyeliner brush.
The bronzy-brown shade is nice, but there is barely a difference in color between the black and the purple shade.
No, it didn't stay on for me at all. I should have sent it back for the large amount of money I spent on 3 pencils that I will have to keep checking in the mirror, just like any much cheaper drugstore waterproof brand. I guess these will end up in the bottom of my make-up drawer too.

tarte violet eyeliner
I fell in love with the violet eyeliner and now it is not here.,..I am not happy. Why stop making na color that is so great? Please bring violet eyeliner back!!!

Surprised!
Wasn't expecting to like this as much as I do. This is a very good product. It absolutely stays on all day and it glides on---no tugging or pulling. Comes off easily with soap and water. Really can't say anything bad about it. Would definitely recommend to a friend. I sometimes get a reaction to make-up, but I haven't had any problems with this. I'm very happy with this product. Try it!

Wears long and easy to apply. Also own and like Tarte` lip Surgence, natural lip luster.

Great but....
Rating is for the trio. It comes in three colors. Unfortunately I don't use the plum and bronze just the charcoal. I wish they sold these separetly. I'm on my second order now just to get the charcoal. A little pricey for a third of use.

This SMOLDERING 'eye liner" trio ... VERY BEST!
Just LOVE this smoldering eye liner trio set! It does stay on all day - until you remove it. Also, great flexibility:
- can use it as a fine eyeliner,
- can use it a little above your other eyeliners.. to soften ...
- can use to add another color... and
- can use for "SMOLDERING" option (when you quickly smudge it) which is FANTASTIC (and my favorite way to use it) !!!
After I used it a couple of times, I quickly ordered 2 more sets ... so I don't run out.
QVC: Plz put this on "auto delivery"..... and also PLEASE do not discontinue this item. As I must say ... this is my VERY VERY FAVORITE eye liner kit.
VERY happy with this.

I'm 61 y.o. and I like how this eye liner slides on and doesn't tug the eye lid. I use either the brown or purple, then put a little black on top. Stays on all day and doesn't travel.

Favorite of any of the Tarte Liners
These "chubby stick" pencils are the best performers of all the Tarte liners for me. When using them make sure you don't use the smudger right after application because you will just smudge your entire application off. You have a slight amount of play time so wait that few seconds until it begins to set before smudging. As a shadow I find my finger works better for application as the smudger just starts smudging it off in different places on the lid. I prefer it as a liner only. I love a thick line but like it to be a more precise thick line so I use a an angled edge brush for application and this way I don't have to care about what condition the tip of the pencil is in....I just swirl the brush around the tip and then sharpen down as I need it after a few days of wear.

They really stay on as promised and they make your eyes pop. I love all the colors.
Keep them coming.
One request - can you put the names of the color on the pencils?
Sometimes it is hard to distinguish between the different browns - as well as Fig and Plum. The coloe coding looks the same.
