A201525 - Elisabeth Hasselbeck Cotton Gingham Blouse
A nice blouse
but the arm holes are huge. I'm going to have to take them in and hopefully the blouse will work for me then.
Wonderful summer shirt
I got this shirt in pink and I love it, It is the perfect weight for summer It makes me feel like and pulled together I love it.
A great summer shirt!!
I bought this blouse in navy and fuschia pink, and I love them both. They are very light, and on days when I want more sun coverage on my neck and back, I wear one of them for my daily walk on the beach. I've washed both shirts, and they turn out really nicely. I would definitely recommend this blouse.
The gingham is a nice size. Got all three colors to wear under other items.
Well worth the sale price!
what a waste of money this was. this top is going back a day after I got it. Top was so thin I would be afraid to wear it without a t-shirt or top underneath. The arm holes were way to large. The designer should be ashamed to put their name on it. Sorry I have to pay for the postage to return. Will not buy from this designer again.
WORST BLOUSE EVER!!
I really wanted a sleeveless blouse for summer and the price was right. I was wrong!
The material is extremely thin and feels not to be of good quality. The armholes are
huge which would show one's bra or whatever--not what I wanted. The blouse seemed
skimpy even though it did fit my size 2x correctly. I am sending it back as I write.
Great look for Summer
I bought the Small in navy and green. I wear an 8 blouse. The price was fantastic. So, I took a chance. The fit was perfect, the length was good and the armholes were the correct size. They look terrific with pedal pushers and jeans. I would recommend this if you like the look and comfort of a sleeveless blouse for Summer.
I don't know why designers just can't get it right!! Plus size women need tops, blouses, and shirts that fit ALL OVER. This means the arm holes. We don't want to show off our bras or underarms. Why is this so difficult for them to do this. AARRGGHH!!! This is on it's way back.
Really cute shirt, very comfortable. Wasn't sure of the sizing, sometimes a small from QVC is huge, but this is just right! I purchased the green shirt and am thinking about ordering the navy blue.
Be careful about sizing :)
I usually am either XL or 1X & figured since this was fitted (princess seams) that I should go with the 1X...which I ordered. I wore it today & must say that I think I should've ordered the XL instead. It's a very attractive shirt. I had it on with white shorts & nice thong sandals. It just felt as though the shirt (from side to side in the chest area) was a bit too broad. I am a 40DD if that helps. SINCE I did wear it today, I am washing it right now to see if it will shrink just a bit so that it fits more narrowly (never thought I'd say that!! ha!). If it does, I'll keep it (in navy) AND the pink one I got also (havent worn yet). Otherwise, I might have to return for the smaller XL size. The gold tone buttons really add a look of quality to this shirt.
I did NOT find the armholes too large. I don't understand the reviewer who said that...unless they have VERY tiny arms. I do like the cut of the arms. I was just concerned that I might look like a "country bumpkin" in this gingham....but I was wrong....it looks VERY cute on! And can be used for layering later in the cool weather.
I just got a boatload of Elizabeth Hasselback's items since many are on clearnce right now......they all appear to be quality in design & fabric. I'm excited! I hope she stays with QVC/Dialogue to bring us a BUNCH more in the future! I can't afford it until on clearance is the only bad thing. The starting price is overpriced in my opinion. But I LOVE the things I got on clearance prices!!!!!!! Yay!!!
Cute Cute but WIDE armhole
I ordered the Kelly Green which I find to be a wonderfully soft, versatile shade; flattering to my light tan skin. I am 5'7" on the larger side of a Misses 14, 38C (but tight right now) and the Large fits just fine - not too loose or too tight but close to the body. HOWEVER, the arm holes are cut wide. easily revealing the inside of the shirt and the "worst" part of the arm between the side of the bra and the armpit. I will have to have darts sewn in or wear a short cami underneath. The collar lies nicely and is comfortable. I plan on wearing mine with my boyfriend chinos and white Keds; white capri's; and straight-leg jeans with white Keds. Very soft, light, comfortable material.
This one is a winner!
I bought this in navy in XS - my normal size, and it fits perfectly! Love the fabric, easy to wear - tucked in or left out. Wear with navy, white, khaki. Another great job, Elisabeth!!
