A196505 - Easy Street Softie Boots
I normally wear a wide. I ordered the double wide so that I might be able to wear a thin sock. The double wide was as narrow as a medium width.
Wear Them Daily
I love boots in the winter vs. shoes. I wear these daily. I received them as a gift for Christmas almost two seasons ago. They still look good. They're the perfect height to make you look stylish, yet they are low enough to be comfortable. They look great with tights and a dress or skirt, but they can also fit under jeans or over jeggings. Great value!
i love these boots! i wore them for the first time on new years eve & they felt great. the inside lining is very nice. i had ordered it in a wide, had a broken ankle several yrs. ago & that side is a little wider now. perfect fit. i ordered a brown. i would order another pair!
Cute and comfortable!
I am loathe to order shoes/boots because fit can be kind-of all over the map. My foot needs a wide toe box, but heel and calves are normal. (Yes, my mother must have been a duck, LOL!) I normally wear an 8-1/2, so ordered these in 8-1/2W, and the fit is perfect! I wore them all day at work, and had no problems by the end of the day. THAT rarely happens even when I buy shoes at the shoe store and try them on first. VERY tempted to get this in other colors, and to try other Easy Street styles. I recommend these!
These boots were ok and DO fit bigger calf sizes, but I wasn't really thrilled with the material, for the price I don't think the value is there. I don't think they would last more than a season and that is if you don't wear them very often. Sorry but I think these are going back in my case. I would rather put the extra money and have real leather.
comfortable and a start for fitting wide calves
I am searching for boots for wide cavles and these are a good start, but I think maybe side goring would have made these perfect for the larger calved customer.
I can zip these all the way up, I do however have to scruch them down in order to do so. Once they are scrunched down, I still have about a ten inch boot height, the highest I've ever found that fits, so I kept them. The ordeal of scrunching down the boots in order to get them on made me give these a four star because it is kind of time consuming. So, my advice to any shoe maker or QVC buyer reading this is to get with your design team and have features like goring, etc and make a line of boots for larger calved women, and I mean larger like fifteen inches plus, in styles like knee high boots, dress boots, etc and SEE if you can keep them in stock! I doubt it. Please Please Please start making this an option...I can't be the only gal out there with this problem. I have literally been researching boots for larger calved women for fifteen years. The first company to tap into this market is going to land in a gold mine.
Anyway, once they are on, they are really comfortable, as everyone has been saying. I am not on my feet all day, but I can wear these all day and not even think about it.
Not real leather, which is kind of a bummer, but that would probably make them much higher in price, so I went for these.
These are great for rainy fall days and I plan to wear them to stay out of the slush this winter.
I have an extra wide foot, so I was pleased that the boot was offered in a WW size. The boot is comfortable, even with a sock underneath. Only gets four stars because the shaft could be a little bit wider. I can scrunch it down beneath my calf and it's comfortable, but I would have liked to have let it ride up on my calf a bit more.
Very Comfortable Boot!
These have to be the only boot/shoe I have ever purchased that feel as comfie as a pair of slippers. No break in time either. I did order the brown originally in a 7.5 wide width, because they were out of the medium width. They were a little loose, but ok. I wanted a black pair and ordered my true size in the medum width and they were tight on my toes! So if you like to wear thicker socks or have any foot issues you might want to order wide instead of medium width. The length was actually a little long and since they are sold out in the black in my size I am re-ordering the black 7 's in a wide. The only down side to these boots is that real leather looks nicer, but not a bad faux look.
Comfort AND Style!
These are the most comfortable boots that I have ever had the pleasure to wear. They felt broken in the first time they were worn. The style is also nice, can be worn casual or dress.
Scuffs Too Easily
I loved these boots at first. They are great looking and go with so many outfits, plus they are pretty comfy. Here is what I have had problems with. Keep in mind I have worn them at least 3 times a week since purchasing them two months ago. After about a month the left one started making a squeaking noise when I walked. Also about a month in, The toe one one the my boots got one scuff mark on the toe and the fabric underneath (not real leather) shows through. Now, just today, there is another scuff on the same toe. I was really hoping these would last longer. Time to get the black sharpie out to try and hide the fabric that show through. I really do like the look and feel of these boots. So sad. I guess I will have to stick to real leather and pay more :(
No break in period. Wear right out of box. My only suggestion is , go up half a size if wearing thick socks. They are very comfortable to walk in.
I usually have problems buying shoes from QVC but took a chance on these. Just like everyone says, they are a perfect fit and very comfortable. No break in time at all and I usually don't wear heels! Very stylish and can wear them all day.
