not worth the bother
these eyeshadows are really not worth the bother... they are very glittery and thats nice but there is very little or no pigment.... i wanted the color as well as the glittery look... so i need to put and eyeshadow on first and then this cream shadow on top... for that i can buy cheaper products....i was dissapointed... i bought the antique gold and the white opal one... all it is is different glitter color...

No base color, just glitter
I don't know why these are listed by color as there is none. I ordered the black pearl metal, which has no black but looks amazing in the jar. It's a dark gray purple with some glitter. It was so pretty I was going to just keep it without trying. Glad I didn't. I swabbed a bit from my knuckle and put it on the top of my hand. There was no base color. All I saw was pink and tan glitter. I didn't want that look but if I did there are much cheaper alternatives. I could just buy a glitter dust from other companies for much less. I thought maybe I needed to put more on but still got the same results. I'll never purchase make up without a video again. It's helpful when people put swatches of the make up on their hands so I can see what the color looks like. Had I seen that I would've never ordered this. If Bobbi can get the color in the pot to show exactly the same on my eye I'd purchase in a heart beat.

This long wear cream shadow in metallic is gorgeous. It goes on so smooth and stays in place all day. I got the pink but now I will go back for at least a couple more. It makes your eyes really pop. I am really happy with it.

MINE MELTED
I would have really liked to try this amazing eye shadow, however, by the time I received mine by UPS, they were totally liquified. Anyway customer service took great care of the situation. I may reorder when the weather gets cooler.

Sparkle!
While I like these a lot, there are a couple things that bug me about the product. First off the color in the pot is not like what you see on your lid. Its way more sheer. Also the metallic is really more of a glitter. And if you try to build color by doing more coats/layers it starts too look patchy and rough. I wish it stayed creamy longer before setting b/c I don't have enough wiggle room. That said these are gorgeous if you do it right and last all day/night. I have 6 of them so that says something. Antique Gold is my fav.

Love Bobbi Brown but Not This
Runs/does not stay in place. I ended up with sparkles all over my face.

Wonderful!
This eye shadow is a smooth cream and stays on all day without creasing. Just the right amount of sparkle. I will definitely buy more shades.

Liked it better after adding some color
I bought the brown metal metallic & moonstone. They do have a lot of sparkle to them but not a lot of color. I thought my eye lids looked a little 'naked' even after putting on a few layers w/a brush & then lining w/Bobbi's graphite shimmer long wear liner. It wasn't until I mixed in a little BE eye shadow of matching color that I got some compliments & I actually liked the color/look better. I was going to send back both 'colors' but think I will now keep them because they are long wear so it's nice not to worry/fix your make up through out the day. If you want/need/like an eye shadow w/a deep color, these may not be for you. If you don't mind adding in some color & playing w/it a little, or want something w/very subtle color, then I'd recommend you try it,. I wish Bobbi's long wear cream shadows had better/brighter colors to choose from because I'd like to try those. No greens in the long wear cream shadows! There is a choose your glam eye palette kit so maybe I'll try that next. Love the long wear (have oily eyelids!) & I now won't wear anything else that's not Bobbi long wear/smashbox waterproof/& maybe tiny bit of BE to boost color.

Love the sparkle
I'm in my forties and I don't think the sparkle is too much. I bought the pink opal and I use it on my lids with the black mauve BB gel liner. I love the look and it is not too much for day or work. I get compliments. I use a brush to apply and put it on in light layers until I get the intensity I want, less for day, more for night. I'm coming back for more colors.

Nice eyeshadow
I was so looking forward to trying this product and purchased it in moonstone. I was also disappointed because it had way too much glitter in it for everyday wear. I even tried to smooth is over with my fingers, but to no avail. I suppose it would be okay for a party or some sort of event or maybe it's my age (58) although I still wear a lot of shimmer and glimmer. But I don't wear glitter. There's a huge difference. It could have been the color, I suppose, but I returned it and won't go back for another try.

Too much sparkle for daytime....great for evening
I bought the Brown & the Black Pearl. Much too much sparkle for me and too much for daytime. They don't have much color though without using another regular shadow with them either over or under. They would really be great for evening though.
