I LOVE these kits, the value is awesome and the brushes are included,the price is great. I hope I don't miss out on the next collection. This kit is an older one I have been getting the new ones , and soon there should be a new kit coming in maybe Nov. I hope I don't miss it.. This lasts a long time you won't be disappointed if you can order the kits....

Newbie: LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
I purchased the bareGold Pure Luxury 10-pc. color collection back in November of 07' and I'm so glad I did. This was my very first BE purchase. The colors were amazing. Needless to say I AM HOOKED! I know I'm a couple yrs late on writing a review, but I was going through my history on QVC and came across this and decided I had to write a review. I kick myself for not doing the auto delivery on future luxury collections-becuase this is by far the best makeup ever!!! Any future luxury collections I will be purchasing and probably more than one for that matter. The colors you recieve in these collections are outstanding! I'm still using my bareGold collection 2 yrs later for "special occasions" only because I can't get this anymore. SO if anyone happens to read this, if there is a luxury collection offered in the future, DO NOT hesitate to purchase it because I know you'll love it and well, if by some very slim chance that you don't like it, you can always send it back. Thank you Leslie- YOU ARE wonderful!

yes, first purchase and best purchase
I would love to see this kit comeback or at least the colors. I get more compliments when I wear these colors than I do with the other colors I've purchased. Like I said, this was my first purchase of BareMinerals and I loved it. I tried the colors that they said come close but there was no comparison.

Buy more mineral veil
This was my introductory product to BE. I am a goldmsith and I LOVE that it has real gold in it! I HAD to try it!!! So glad that I did. I love BE now!
This kit has a tiny bit of a few things. I really like the mineral veil and it goes quickly. The makeup can be as subtle or as dramatic as you wish and you have total control. I like very natural understated makeup. Most days I don't even use the eyeliner. I wish it came with warmth as well. I will be purchasing one soon. I bought this in December and am now a BE fan. I have purchased many more BE items since then and am very pleased.
Note: You will need to reapply when it's hot out and perspiration happens. This sample size is perfect to keep in your purse.

great colors
I like most of this kit. I have medium skin tone and brown hair/eyes. I use the gold mine liner and riches blush just about every day. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of the lipstick color. Just doesn't work on me.
I have been using BE for years, so for the ladies who wanted tips here you go:
To control the amount of powder in the container, do not remove the sticker that ocvers the holes. Instead, take a pin and punch out just a few holes.
To make the eyeliner last all day and not make a mess, dampen the eyeliner brush with a drop of water and dip it in the color. Use the cap to mix into a paste and apply.
To make your foundation and blush last longer, use the mineral veil. It is a finishing product and helps keep the color in place all day.

Great!
I really love this kit! The lipstick is pretty much the only lipstick I use now. It stays on great. I also fell in love the with eye liner. I do have to say yes it is a little messy. I think the main reason is because the brush that came with it is so big... when you tap it kinda goes everywhere. Overall great value!

Great, but messy
This make up is perfect coverage, put i did find it to be messy. If you can find a way to control the amount dispensed throught the container, you will love it.

ONLY FOUNDATION I WILL EVER USE
MS. BLODGETT, I HEARD YOU SAY THAT THIS PARTICULAR "GOLD" SET WOULD NOT BE BROUGHT BACK...SO DISAPPOINTING......!!! THE RADIANCE IS EXTRAORDINARY...IT ENHANCES MY OTHER BARE MINERALS FOUNDATION SO WELL. I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE BRUSH IN THIS SET. ALL OF YOUR PRODUCATS ARE EXTRAORDINARY, JUST WHAT I NEED IN MY "59TH" YEAR...THANKS FOR YOUR HARD WORK...IT IS SOOOOO APPRECIATED.

Gorgeous, One of the Best Kits Ever!
I received this kit right before Christmas, and picked up an extra one for my granddaughter, 18, who is, besides being a makeup junkie, an avid Bare Escentuals user. I am proud to have gotten her hooked on something good!
I used this Christmas day, and wow, I loved the colors, and the creaminess of everything in the kit. I was a bit nervous about the "gold", being that I am really fair, and don't "cotton" to a yellowish tint, however, this was rich without being yellow, and really complimented my overall look. The shadows are wonderful, and the lipstick is a favorite of mine now.
When my granddaughter opened hers, she about fell over. After I explained to her that it contained real gold, and the exclusivity of the kit, she was really excited. What I didn't expect were the looks I got from my daughter, daughter in law and other granddaughter who were obviously jealous. I shudda known.
I am buying extras now to "make up" for my faux pas, knowing that I am giving gifts that are really appreciated, and are actually good for them. I am glad that I am in a position that I can do this as "all my children" really can't afford some of the more expensive kits, but each deserve this one. It is a real winner. Thanks Leslie and all at Bare Escentuals for having something I can share with my family and still feel like I am sort of taking care of them at the same time.

You get so much for your money and the brushes alone are worth the money you pay for the whole set. You can't go wrong with BE. LOVE IT! I need more of these sets.

Looking for this set
I absolutely love BE and have used these products for about 9 years. I am 57 and no one ever believes it!! I would like to know if anyone has an extra of this set that they would be interested in selling. I received one and gave it as a gift and am now very sorry that I did. (She is a REALLY good friend!) I love the products and I liked the BE box that it came in too. The colors suited me and I wish I had kept it. Thanks.

LOVE BE! BEST YET! GREAT PRICE! 10 PIECES FOR $50?
I love BE! I wasn't sure if this would work with my blue eyes, and pale uneven skin tone. Being a BE user for 2 years, I put this on my wish list and sent it to my husband's email. Guess what I got for our anniversary!?! BE GOLD! 10 pieces, and it's 11 if you count the cool box and adjustable mirror.
The brushes are superior!
The shadow's a little dark for me, but who cares!
I can gift the items i don't use.

My only regret? I didn't lock in Auto Delivery!!!
I've had this for almost 3 months, and it takes 10 yrs, even those sugar holiday indulgence blemished covered right up with my bisque, (not in this kit) and I could not live w/o mineral viel-- it sets the BE make-up. It last all day!
I am almost 50, and people think I am in my late 30's when I wear my BE.
Sometimes I just wear the face color, and lipstick. I get so many compliments!
**works for any skin tone, infact, it changed mine so that I looked like i had golden skin! i felt tan in December! WAY TO GO!
