The Claddagh Design
The Claddagh design dates back to 16th Century Ireland. It was originally handcrafted as a ring by goldsmith Richard Joyce in the tiny fishing village of Claddagh. The beautiful symbol features two hands holding a crowned heart. Traditionally, the hands indicate friendship, the heart expresses love, and the crown conveys loyalty. Over the centuries, the Claddagh has become one of Ireland’s most beloved and enduring emblems.
