It's quite common for a new natural-fill product to contain an unwanted odor, particularly when it has been stored in or shipped to/from a humid climate. There are many ways to remedy an unwanted odor. Two favorite methods are allowing the item to air out for several hours (if you live in a dry climate) or tumbling the item in a clothes dryer for several hours on a low or no-heat setting. For an extra fresh scent, you can place a dryer sheet or tennis ball with a fragrance sprayed on it in the dryer.
