"I own my fair share of couture jewelry. Given my lifestyle and the number of events I attend each year, I get to wear it pretty often. This collection is based on a pendant and ring I bought at auction several years ago. It's said to have been designed by an Italian aristocrat for his beloved wife in the 1800s. It was then passed down through the women in her family for several generations until I was lucky enough to buy it. For my collection, I've used dark and radiant colors to make it more mysterious and glamorous. And, since bold rings are my passion, I boosted the scale for a more adventurous presence. I love that I could wear this look with anything, anywhere. Its renaissance-inspired design is really that timeless. "
